Good morning, familia! ❤️
Today is the day.
In just a little while, I will sit for the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM) exam, a milestone that represents years of study, sacrifice, growth, and faith. My journey has taken me across countries and cultures, learning from mothers, babies, and midwives around the world, and especially during these last 10 months here in the United States.
As I prepare to walk into this exam, my heart is full of gratitude. I am grateful for every family who trusted me to witness a sacred chapter of their story, for every baby who taught me something new, for every mentor who generously shared their wisdom, and for every classmate who walked alongside me on this journey.
Most of all, I am grateful for my best friend, my husband, mi flaco hermoso, who has patiently walked beside me through every late night, every challenge, every victory, every doubt, and every dream. Thank you for continuing to walk this path with me and for embracing the beautiful, demanding, and sacred life of midwifery right alongside me. ❤️
This calling has never been just about an exam. It has been about answering God’s invitation to serve women, babies, and families with love, humility, and compassion.
I would deeply appreciate your prayers today. I am walking into this exam with peace, confidence, and trust that God has carried me this far for a reason. There are definitely some butterflies fluttering around in my stomach 🙈, but even more than nerves, I feel thankful, hopeful, and blessed.
Whatever happens today, I know I am already standing on the shoulders of so many people who have encouraged, supported, prayed for, and believed in me.
Thank you for being part of this journey. ❤️
