About the owner/instructor:
Kim Dawson, MS, HFS, CES
Kim has over 20 years of experience in group fitness and personal training. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in clinical wellness and a Master of Science degree in College Teaching with a Physical Education emphasis. She is a certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine, holds the ASCM Exercise Is Medicine credential and most recently earned her Cancer Exercise Specialist certification through the Cancer Exercise Training Institute. Kim's passion is helping to educate future fitness professionals by teaching ACSM certification workshops for Fitness Education Network.

This hits home.... let the healing begin

Healing is not for wimps, whether it’s healing a faulty movement pattern or a trauma bond.

I remember standing on this exact spot on the dock on July 22 last year with someone the universe temporarily sent to me to reveal to me what I still needed to heal. I’m sure many of you can relate.

A lot has changed in a year (for the better).

I owe so much of my personal growth to my relationships and to my ongoing movement transformation.

Healing painful muscle imbalances and becoming a movement badass has given me the strength and courage to heal my relationship with myself. It’s given me the courage to shine the light on more areas where I have self-abandoned that require healing.

Movement has helped me release trapped emotions.

Doing the work to recognize and heal destructive patterns is not for wimps. But it’s necessary if you want to stop wounding yourself. So put on your superhero cape and get to work.
