When the unexpected happens, compassionate care can make all the difference.

After Ashley Hardy’s 14-year-old son suffered a serious hand injury, she shared her appreciation for the team at the Choctaw Nation Emergency Department for turning a frightening experience into one filled with comfort and confidence.

Ashley recognized Challis, Mandy, and Terri for acting quickly to stop the bleeding, provide immediate care, and ensure her son received the appropriate referrals. Their calm demeanor, reassuring smiles, and compassionate approach helped bring peace of mind during a stressful moment.

She also expressed her gratitude to Dr. Brooks and Dr. Tinat for their exceptional care, clear communication, and outstanding bedside manner.

We are excited to welcome our incoming intern residents as they begin their journey with the Choctaw Nation Family Medicine Residency program in Talihina, Oklahoma.

The enthusiasm among our new residents is evident as they look forward to picture day and the start of their clinical training. This marks an important milestone as they transition into hands-on learning, patient care, and professional growth within our community.

We are proud to support and guide this next generation of physicians and look forward to a rewarding year ahead.

We're excited for our community as our Community Health Care & Choctaw Employee Health Care move into a new, larger facility.

Appointments are open to both non-tribal & tribal patients

The Choctaw Nation Talihina Community Clinic (TCC) is relocating to improve service for patients and the community. The new address is 818 Dallas Street, Talihina, OK, and the clinic will officially open on Monday, May 11.
