For our second graduate testimony, we are honored to share the story of Stephanie, the third graduate of Humble House Ministries. 🎓 Her story is a powerful reminder that God’s grace continues long after graduation, and that restoration is always possible.

✨ “I know where I came from, I know who brought me out, and I know who I belong to. Jesus gets all the glory.” ✨

Being the third graduate of Humble House Ministries is something I’ll always carry with me. Life after graduation wasn’t perfect—I relapsed for nine months and came back for restoration and transition because I knew God had done something real in my life there. Humble House loved me when I didn’t love myself. They gave me space to be honest about what was really going on while still pointing me to Jesus through prayer, discipleship, mercy, and grace.

Since then, God has given me my family back, a home, vehicles, stability, and the chance to work in ministry. I’ve also been through some really hard things, including losing my sister and my dad. Humble House is still one of the places I think about when life gets heavy. I remember what God taught me there and the people who prayed with me, walked beside me, and still do.

To me, Humble House is like the stones Joshua took from the Jordan River—a spiritual reminder that says, “God brought me through this.” Ephesians 2:1–10 came alive for me there. Jesus met me broken and bound, made me alive in Him, and showed me that I am His masterpiece. Now I get to carry that truth into ministry and serve men and women knowing they are His masterpieces too, even when they can’t see it yet.

I know where I came from, I know who brought me out, and I know who I belong to. Jesus gets all the glory.

💜 Stephanie’s story reminds us that graduation is not the end of the journey. God continues to restore, rebuild, and use our stories for His glory. We are so grateful for the woman Stephanie has become and for the way she continues to carry the truth of what God did in her life at Humble House into ministry. 💜

💜 COURTNEY’S STORY 💜

This week, we are honored to share the testimony of Courtney, a proud graduate of Humble House Ministries! 🎓💜 Her journey is a beautiful reminder of the restoration, new beginnings, and freedom that can come through surrendering our lives to the Lord.

✨ “I am thankful to be a living testimony for Jesus!” ✨

Since Humble House I have learned that removing things from our life is opening up our hands to receive the newness that the Lord is bringing in. When I’m having a hard day remember this too shall pass. God wants me to live everyday as Jesus would. I have learned to not assume, and to take responsibility for my actions. I’m thankful that the Lord renews my mind daily. I am grateful for who I have in my life, I praise God for restored relationships and all the trials I have gone through, as well as new beginnings! He has definitely shown Himself to me and I am beyond grateful! I am now living in Panama City working a full time job, taking care of my daughter, and staying in church. My daughter has been saved and baptized as well. I am thankful to be a living testimony for Jesus!

💜 RECOVERY IS ABOUT COMMUNITY 💜

Recovery means having people in your corner who will celebrate your victories—but also love you enough to tell you the truth.

Community gives us a safe place to be honest. To say, “I’m struggling.” To admit when we’ve made a mistake. To ask for help before a hard moment becomes a setback.

At Humble House Ministries, our ladies learn that accountability isn't about judgment. It's about love.

It's having someone who notices when you're pulling away.
Someone who asks the hard questions.
Someone who prays with you instead of giving up on you.
Someone who reminds you of the woman you're becoming when you can't see it for yourself.

God created us for relationship, and there is strength in having people who are willing to walk through the messy parts with us.

💜 Sometimes the strongest step we can take in recovery is simply letting someone in.

We are so thankful for the community God has built around Humble House—the staff, volunteers, churches, supporters, graduates, and women who continue to walk alongside one another.

Because recovery is not just about changing your life. It's about learning that you don't have to change it alone.

💜 RECOVERY IS ABOUT COMMUNITY 💜

Recovery doesn't end when a woman walks across the stage at graduation.

The relationships built during recovery can become lifelong connections.

At Humble House Ministries, we are blessed to watch women walk through our program, graduate, and continue to encourage one another long after their time in the program is over.

Graduates become examples for the women coming behind them. They share their experiences, offer encouragement, celebrate milestones, and remind others that there is life on the other side of addiction.

That is the beauty of community.

You come into recovery needing someone to walk beside you—and one day, you may become the person walking beside someone else. 💜

Every testimony matters. Every story matters. Every woman matters.

And together, we get to witness what God can do when women are surrounded by love, accountability, faith, and a community that refuses to give up on them.

✨ Recovery is about more than becoming sober. It’s about finding your people, rebuilding your life, and learning how to walk forward together.

💜 RECOVERY IS ABOUT COMMUNITY 💜

One of the greatest gifts of recovery is realizing you don’t have to walk the road alone.

Recovery is about the people who sit beside you when you're hurting.
The people who celebrate when you succeed.
The people who hold you accountable when you need it.
The people who pray with you when you don't have the words.

At Humble House Ministries, our ladies experience the power of community every day. They learn that asking for help isn't weakness—it’s part of healing.

God often brings the right people into our lives at the right time. People who encourage us, challenge us, pray for us, and remind us of who we are when we forget.

💜 Sometimes God’s answer to “I can’t do this anymore” is simply, “You don’t have to do it alone.”

We are grateful for the community that surrounds our ladies and for every person who chooses to walk beside them.

Recovery was never meant to be walked alone.

At Humble House Ministries, community is at the heart of the recovery journey. Our ladies walk through the hard days together, celebrate the victories together, pray for one another, encourage one another, and remind each other that they are never alone.

There is something powerful about being surrounded by women who understand where you’ve been because they’ve walked similar roads themselves.

Sometimes recovery looks like a prayer whispered over a friend.
Sometimes it looks like a late-night conversation.
Sometimes it’s someone reminding you not to give up when you feel like you can’t take another step.

**Community reminds us that we don’t have to carry everything by ourselves.**

At Humble House, we believe God uses people to help bring healing, encouragement, accountability, and hope.
