Do you get dizzy or lightheaded when you stand up?
Orthostatic hypotension can be caused by blood pooling in your legs and returning slowly back to your heart causing a drop in blood pressure. As we age, this can be a more frequent occurrence and put you at risk for falls.

Ways to decrease dizziness when 1st standing up:
1. Make sure you are keeping hydrated throughout the day. 🫗
2. Review your medications with your doctor or pharmacist. 💊
3. Move your legs around before standing up. 🦵
4. Wear compression socks. 🧦
