August is National Breastfeeding Month and if you're in the thick of it right now like cluster feeding at 2am, googling "is this normal," wondering if your supply is enough... we see you.

Here's something worth knowing: breastfeeding isn't all-or-nothing and it's not a test you pass or fail. ACOG's guidance is clear that exclusive breastfeeding is recommended for the first 6 months, with continued breastfeeding alongside complementary foods through the first year or beyond. There's no gold star for going it alone and there's no shame in supplementing, either. Whatever you choose, our providers support your right to make that decision, free from pressure or judgment.

If you're struggling with latch, with supply, with just feeling like you're doing it "right" just know that's exactly what we're here for. Lactation support isn't a last resort. It's part of good care.

You're doing a good job. Even on the days it doesn't feel like it.

Did you know? If a hereditary cancer gene runs in your family, your parents, siblings, and children each have a 50% chance of carrying it too.

That's why we offer the MyRisk Hereditary Cancer Test. It's a simple saliva test that looks at 63 genes to assess your risk for 11 hereditary cancers, plus a personalized breast cancer risk score for many patients.

Whether cancer runs in your family or not, this is a conversation worth having with your provider.

Hearing "gestational diabetes" during your pregnancy can feel like a gut punch. One minute you're talking nursery colors, the next you've got a glucose meter in your hand.

Here's what we want every mama to hear first: you didn't cause this, and you're not alone in it.

In our latest blog, we're answering the questions we hear most from patients sitting exactly where you are:
✔️ Why does screening happen at 24–28 weeks?
✔️ Will my baby be safe?
✔️ Does treatment mean daily struggle or just a few small changes?
✔️ Will this affect how I deliver?
✔️ Does it go away after birth?

Whether you just got the diagnosis or you're anxious about your upcoming test, this one's for you.

PMS doesn't have to run your month.

Several things can make a real difference:

- Movement -- even a brisk walk helps ease bloating, mood swings, and fatigue
- NSAID -- if cramps are part of your PMS, starting an NSAID (like ibuprofen) 2-3 days before your period starts can significantly cut the pain. You don't have to wait until you're already hurting.
