Liberation for Americans with disabilities is intertwined so much with liberation for Black Americans, and Black individuals with disabilities face unique challenges stemming from our country’s history of enslavement.

Join us in celebrating this day as a monumental shift towards liberation, and make sure you are registered to vote this November — make your voice heard through your vote: vote.gov 🔗

THANK YOU to Kevin Spencer for an incredible Sunday Keynote to end The 28th Annual Family Café. The therapeutic application of illusion is such a unique and important addition to the options individuals with disabilities have.

Your commentary on societal expectations and treating individuals as a whole "rope" rather than using traditional metrics was so insightful. We appreciate you spending the weekend with us and becoming part of The Family Café community. ❤️🌹
