FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities CARD’s purpose is to serve individuals across the lifespan by helping them become valued members of their communities.

The Center for Autism and Related Disabilities at FSU (CARD-FSU) in the Autism Institute was established in 1994 and is one of 7 centers funded by the Florida Legislature and coordinated as a grant program through the Florida Department of Education. FSU CARD is one of seven centers funded by the Florida Legislature and currently serves over 7,000 individuals ranging from toddlers to adults in 18

This free webinar series is for families of young children and professionals, or students in any discipline that work with young children and families including early childhood and special education teachers, speech-language pathologists, psychologists, social workers, nurses, pediatricians, family physicians, college students in these disciplines, and anyone else interested in learning about the magic of learning to talk. This webinar series is a companion to our new SC•DIT course but anyone interested can attend.

The Arc Gateway is excited to introduce Sea No Limits, a FREE fishing clinic for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families!

🎣 Saturday, October 10 | 8 AM–12 PM

📍 Vince J. Whibbs Sr. Community Maritime Park
301 West Main Street, Pensacola

This year, The Arc Gateway is proud to host Sea No Limits for the first time, continuing a wonderful community event that has brought the joy of fishing to individuals with disabilities for many years. Participants will enjoy hands-on fishing instruction, casting and knot-tying activities, special marine life educational booths, a free grilled lunch, and plenty of fun along the waterfront!

The first 250 registered participants will also receive a FREE rod and reel to keep, event T-shirt and bait.
