🪖💚 Oral Motor Bootcamp: Mission Accomplished!

Our first-year graduate students put their clinical skills to the test as they practiced hearing screenings and oral mechanism exams! With support and encouragement from our second-year students and clinical supervisors, they gained hands-on experience, built confidence, and sharpened their skills.

We wrapped up the week with a little camo, lots of teamwork, and some well-earned bootcamp certificates! 💪👏

Basic Life Support certification: complete! 🙌🏻⛑️

During their first semester, all grad students complete the American Heart Association’s Basic Life Support (BLS) certification program, gaining essential CPR and AED skills.

This hands-on training is an important part of preparing our future speech-language pathologists to provide safe, competent, and confident care across clinical settings.

Way to go, future SLPs! 👏❤️💛
