Iโve been MIA on here for a few weeks, and I wanted to share a quick update on where my head is at, particularly for my Tallahassee commercial clients.
My company is strictly commercial now. I will only onboard a new residential account if you are personally referred by one of my active clients.
As a Christian, I had to decide how much energy to put into a cleaning business platform versus my ministry, which is where my true heart is.
This platform will be strictly for my commercial cleaning clients in Tallahassee to see the face behind my work, while my business serves as the financial engine funding my life and ministry. This frees me up to connect with spiritually like-minded people - particularly Christian single ladies who want to be active, live the single life right, and why not the entrepreneurial life, and have true fellowship.
About the apartment complexes, I actually live at one of the properties managed by this company, and my history with them goes way back. Before I started this business, I worked on their renovation projects as an electrician apprentice for almost three years. โก๏ธ
Iโve been registered as one of their corporate vendors since 2023. But in 2025, when it came time to renew, we didnโt align on my rates. Because in life and in business, growth requires boundaries, and it is completely OK to set them and keep them.
Fast forward to 2026, and we just picked the partnership back up, completely on my terms and at my regular prices. Iโm stepping back into the original three apartment complexes, and they recently purchased a fourth one just down the street that might be coming up next.
I am also soon relaunching a referral program and looking for well-connected candidates here in the Tallahassee community. While people often offer casual introductions, I am a firm believer in backing up partnerships with real financial incentives (read the pinned comment). When there is a true mutual benefit, the follow-through is natural, and it ensures everyoneโs time, real needs, and professional value are genuinely respected.
