Sam Craig McMillan, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on August 27, 2026.

He was born on December 15, 1948, and lived a life marked by service to his community and a deep devotion to his family. Craig was a graduate of the Quincy High School Class of 1966 and attended the University of Florida before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he continued his education and graduated from the Florida State University School of Business.

Craig was an active entrepreneur and a pillar of the local business community. He worked nearly 50 years building the Pat Thomas & Associates Insurance Agency eventually retiring as President/Partner in 2022.

Throughout his life, Craig was deeply involved in his community and generously gave his time to the organizations he loved. He served in numerous leadership roles on the boards of Centenary United Methodist Church, Capital City Bank and Robert F. Munroe Day School. Craig was also a driving force in the development and construction of the Gadsden Memorial Hospital.

Craig was a man of great wit and presence. He had a natural ability to make people laugh and feel at ease, while earning the respect of those around him. His strong character, sharp humor, and quiet confidence left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Carolyn Metcalf, 68, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away on August 22, 2026. She was born on December 9, 1957, in Tallahassee, where she was raised and spent her entire life.

Carolyn married Donald Metcalf on June 30, 1975, and together they shared 51 years of marriage, building a loving family and a life filled with cherished memories. She was a devoted mother to three daughters, Lisa Ray, Stacey Metcalf, and Jessica McCrone, and a proud Nana to her five grandchildren, Landon Ray, Ryan Serrano, Hannah Metcalf, José Ruiz, and Charlee Ruiz, whom she adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Florine and Troy Graves, and her brother, Eugene Thomas.

For over 15 years, Carolyn ran an in-home daycare, a natural extension of her nurturing and generous spirit. Later in life, she turned her full attention to her home and family, finding joy in simple pleasures like trips to the beach and tending to her yard.

Carolyn was known for her strength, generosity, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She had a giving heart and always put the needs of others before her own, and her greatest joy was caring for her family. Carolyn’s greatest legacy is the love she gave so freely.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced when arrangements have been finalized.

William "Billy" Harvey Donnell died August 9th, 2026.

Billy lived with his parents Harvey and Betty along with his sister Laura Lee in Rockledge, Florida until the age of 19 when he enlisted in the US Navy. It was his dream to serve his country, as did his father Harvey (Marine Corps) and grandfather Ivan (Navy). He served honorably aboard the USS Saratoga aircraft carrier during the 1980's after graduation from Rockledge Florida High School. He enjoyed the remainder of his life with family and friends, especially his son Brandon and daughter Lauren Lee.

In addition to his children, Billy is survived by his mother Betty Donnell, sister Laura Lee Geier, brother-in-law Eric Geier, many Long, Root, Townsend, and Donnell relatives, as well as a wealth of other family and friends. "Sail proudly Sara, home from the sea, take our dear Billy home safely with thee."

Services will be held at Cape Canaveral National Cemetery on September 11th at 11:00 AM. Jimmy Wylie of Lifesong Funerals and Cremations of Tallahassee is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Marie Elaina Behm, 80, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026.

Born on July 17, 1946, Marie lived a life rooted in her faith and her family. A devoted Christian, her faith was a constant source of strength throughout her life and brought her comfort in both joyful and difficult times.

Marie began her career in cosmetology, where she spent 15 years before beginning a 30-year career with Florida State University’s School of Film. She took pride in her work and in the life she built through the years.

Above all else, Marie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother. She cherished her family deeply and took great pride in watching them grow. She was a loving wife to her husband, Tom, and a devoted mother to her son, Jason, but perhaps her most treasured role of all was being Nana. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought a special joy to her life, and the love she gave them will remain a part of them forever.

Marie is survived by her beloved husband, Tom Behm; her son, Jason Douglas (Shannon); her grandchildren, Todd Douglas (Chelsea), Casey Stewart (Ashley), and Lindsey Douglas; her sisters, Arlene Eminisor of Glen St. Marry, and Sylvia (Dennis) Lee of Jacksonville; as well as her many nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren, and extended family.

Nancy “Joyce” Anderson Oliff, 86, of Woodville, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2026. She was a cherished Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt, Sister and Sister-in-Law.

Joyce was a beautiful, brilliant, and very wise person who truly loved people. She was a passionate Home Maker for a family of five. She served others as a Registered Nurse at both Tallahassee Memorial and Archbold Hospitals as well as the Church Administrative Assistant at Lifebasics Church during her years of retirement. She always had great advice and loved to laugh in a way that lifted spirits wherever she went. She provided a household filled with laughter. Joyce had a strong love for the Lord and loved her large extended family with all of her heart. She was named “Joy” by her sister; those that knew her would agree she traveled through life living up to her name. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
