Today we were supposed to go to the Medievial Torture Museum but they are upstairs and have no elevator so we hit up the Potters Wax Museum instead and now getting a bite to eat at the Village Inn diner before we head out to Emilys last day of radiation!!!

Tonight we did our very 1st Escape Room and it was amazingly fun!!! We chose The Heist and escaped with a lil over 4 min...

Tonight we did our very 1st Escape Room and it was amazingly fun!!! We chose The Heist and escaped with a lil over 4 minutes left!! The staff at The Escape Game was soo sweet! When we escaped they surprised Emily with a card they all made and signed for her congratulating her on finishing treatment aswell as a little escape plushie💛 We are finishing the night off with Pizza & wings at V's Pizza and taking a Riverwalk

Another great day at PT.. they put her on a machine that held her up and she walked without holding on to anything but the harness was riding up her shorts so I dont wanna post it

Tonight for our last week we got to experience our very 1st ever MiLB baseball game as we watched the Jacksoville Shrimps take on the Gwinett Stripers..do we watch baseball? No..lol..did we have a great time watching while scarfing down some dawgs...ya dang right we did!

Today was an emotional day for me. For the 1st time in almost 8 months I got to watch our warrior push through the pain and take a few steps on her own using a walker. She did this 3 times today totaling about 45 steps and then went on to do the leg press at 37lbs which was 12 more lbs from the 25lbs she did last week. She also stood up without the walker and stood with lil to no help all on her own for almost 30 secs, which may seem like nothing to you or I but for someone who has lost use of their legs, 30 secs is an eternity and a feat in of itself! This girl continues to amaze me. The PT's at Wolfsons listen to what she wants and what her goals are and they let her work her legs the way she wants.

In Jax for Emilys very last week of radiation so we brought Matthew to stay with us and do some fun things. Tonight its Friendship Fountain!!!

The staff at Wolfson's are an amazing bunch of people. From the nurses who helped care for Emily on the nights she kicked me out 😂 to the volunteers who come by and check to see if she needed anything. As a Gator girl I have always stood behind and trusted the staff of UFShands for any and all of their services but the staff at Wolfsons will always hold a special place in my heart now.💛
