This week is garden week, so we’ve been learning all about different flowers and plants, how to take care of a garden, what tools you need for gardening, and how to be safe when working in a garden! 🪴 🪏

Some of us took a trip to The Home Depot yesterday to learn some more! 🧡 We looked at all the beautiful brightly colored flowers and plants! 🪻🌷A sweet employee named Lori taught us about annual and perineal plants, about some plants needing more sunlight than others, and about the milkweed being the plant that the monarch butterfly lays its eggs in! 🦋🌻

We also explored the store and learned about light fixtures, kitchen appliances, and flooring! It was a fun filled day of learning and experiencing new things!

Our friend Bailee brought in her bearded dragon named Spike this week! She taught us about the bearded dragon, what they eat, what they like, and all about their habitats! 🦎 She also bought all the supplies and helped each of us make little terrariums with our own lizards!
