🌿 Protect Yourself from Tick Bites This Summer! 🌿

Summer is a great time to enjoy the outdoors, but it's also peak tick season. Ticks can carry illnesses such as Lyme disease and other infections, making prevention more important than ever.

Here are a few simple ways to stay safe:
✅ Wear long sleeves and long pants when walking in wooded or grassy areas.
✅ Use an EPA-approved insect repellent containing DEET, picaridin, or IR3535.
✅ Stay on marked trails and avoid tall grass when possible.
✅ Check yourself, your children, and your pets for ticks after spending time outdoors.
✅ Shower within two hours of coming inside to help wash away unattached ticks.

Know the signs: If you develop a fever, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, or notice a rash after a tick bite, don't ignore it. Early treatment is important.

If you have concerns about a tick bite or are experiencing symptoms, our clinic is here to help. Your health matters, and we're committed to providing compassionate care for our community.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and enjoy your summer! ☀️💚
