SUMMER ACTIVITIES!

Here is the weekly planner for the first week of Summer Activities! We look forward to seeing the youth on Monday!

Please pay attention to the drop off and pick up times and locations! Since we are having activities at the Rec Center (walking), we ask that you be courteous to these times and locations so we can be more efficient with our efforts!

Update on the Aces League Women's volleyball. We changed the age limit to 18+. Get your kicks and knee pads and jump into a live game. We are doing random team draw with stats provided. Come join us tonight @ 6pm!

Good afternoon Meskwaki Community,

Here is some Summer Activities information for you all! An email has been sent out to you all that have registered your youth, please check those for important information!

Pay attention to the dates and location changes! And we plan to utilize the Bright Wheel App this summer so make sure you have that downloaded and are signed up!

We are also excited to announce partnerships with a few different tribal ops departments and programs like MNR, MAPA, and Diabetes to offer different activities and projects for the youth! The flyer below is the Summer Movement project to help kids earn a FREE pair of shoes at the end of Summer through walking and workouts!

Hello Meskwaki Community,

The 3rd Annual CHICAGO BEARS Football Training Camp is once again coming to the Meskwaki Settlement! 2026 brings something new this year and we are excited about it, a Girls Flag Football Session!!

Here are the details!

When:
Tribal youth sign-ups, June 12th- July 10th until 1pm
Surrounding area youth sign-ups, July 1st @ 1pm through July 17th
Camp starts, July 18th, 2026

Where:
Meskwaki Settlement School Football Field

Mini Monsters Camp (100+ kids needed)
Ages 7 to 14 years old
10:30am-Noon

Girls Flag Football Camp (75 kids limit)
Ages 7 to 18 years old
1:30pm-3:00pm

*Small snacks will be provided afterwards*

**Once signed up you will receive a confirmation email**
***Along with the waiver needing to be signed***

If you enjoyed last year’s event, we hope you come out again this year. If you didn’t, here is another opportunity for you to come out and get some training and mentorship from NFL athletes and training staff. The youth really enjoyed themselves going through football drills last year and interacting with the CHICAGO BEARS, we hope to add to that experience this year!
