Have you noticed your baby making more coos, squeals, and little sounds lately? 🤍

Those sweet noises are more than just adorable. They’re an important part of early communication and language development.

As your baby grows, they begin experimenting with their voice, responding to familiar voices, and learning the back-and-forth rhythm of conversation.

You can support their development by:
• Talking to them throughout the day
• Smiling and responding to their sounds
• Reading books together
• Singing simple songs

Every conversation, cuddle, and song helps your baby learn and connect with the world around them.

Sometimes an adjustment comes with encouragement a few laughs and a reminder that you’re not doing this parenting thing alone ❤️

To all the moms who make my office feel like a little community thank you 🫶

Growing a baby is hard work, but that doesn’t mean you have to simply “deal with” every ache and pain.

Many pregnant women experience low back pain, pelvic pain, hip pain, or round ligament discomfort as their bodies adapt to pregnancy. Gentle, pregnancy-specific chiropractic care may help improve comfort, mobility, and function throughout pregnancy.

Every pregnancy is different, so care is always tailored to your individual needs and stage of pregnancy.

If you’re looking for a Webster Certified chiropractor in the Tampa area, I’d love to support you throughout your pregnancy. 💜🌿

Have you noticed your baby putting everything in their mouth?

It might seem like they’re teething, but mouthing objects is also a normal part of development.

Babies often explore the world with their mouths because it’s one of the ways they learn about different textures, shapes, and sensations while developing hand-to-mouth coordination.

You may notice your baby:
• Bringing their hands to their mouth
• Chewing on toys
• Exploring safe objects with their mouth

Offering clean, age-appropriate toys and plenty of supervised floor play gives your baby opportunities to safely explore and learn.

If you ever have concerns about your baby’s development, feeding, or oral motor skills, don’t hesitate to reach out to your pediatric healthcare provider.

Pregnancy brings incredible changes to your body, but that doesn’t mean you have to simply “deal with it.”

While aches and discomfort are common, they don’t have to become your new normal. Gentle chiropractic care may help improve comfort, support mobility, and help you enjoy your pregnancy.

As a Webster Certified chiropractor, I use pregnancy specific techniques designed with expecting moms in mind to help you feel more comfortable throughout each trimester.

You deserve to feel supported during your pregnancy, not just told to “push through.”

💜 Ready to learn more? I’d love to help.

When should babies start rolling? ❤️

Rolling is an exciting milestone because it shows growing strength, coordination, and body awareness.

Before rolling, parents often notice:
• improved head control
• easier tummy time
• more reaching and turning

Every baby develops at their own pace, so there is a normal range for when rolling begins.

Providing opportunities for tummy time, floor play, and movement can help support motor development.

If you have concerns about your baby’s movement or milestones, it’s always okay to check in with a healthcare provider.

A quick office update! ⚽🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Thistle Family Chiropractic will be closed Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25 while my family and I take a quick trip to Miami to experience the World Cup Fan Fest and cheer on Scotland as they take on Brazil.

We’re looking forward to making some special memories together and enjoying all the excitement surrounding the match.

The office will reopen Friday, June 26. Thank you for your understanding, and I’ll see you back in the office soon!

POV: Your chiropractor isn’t looking at you. They’re thinking about what they just felt 👀

If you’ve ever caught your chiropractor staring off into space during an exam or adjustment, there’s a good chance we’re not actually looking at anything at all 😅

We’re processing the information our hands just picked up and figuring out how everything connects.

Sometimes the body tells a story before we ever say a word.
