Tampa Acroyoga is a combined physical sport in both yoga and acrobatics: where we come together as partners and in groups learning the skill sets to lift one another.

Our second Connected in Flight class is taking off on Saturday, August 15 at 1:00 p.m. at Circus Arts Foundry!

We’ll begin with a full-body warm-up, then move into beginner friendly acroyoga poses that gradually transition from the ground into the silks. You’ll receive guided instruction, spotting, and support throughout each progression so you can move with confidence, explore something new, and meet yourself exactly where you are.

And if time allows, we may even finish with a little Partner Straps fun!

No partner and no experience required.

Just come ready to move, connect, and take flight with us.

August is here, and we’re ready to keep flying!

Join us on the green turf for our free Friday evening All Levels AcroYoga classes. No partner or experience is required, just bring your yoga mat, water bottle, small towel, and your adventurous spirit!

As we move deeper into hurricane season, tropical weather may become more active, bringing heavier rain, stronger storms, and quickly changing conditions. Please check our Instagram Stories diligently each Friday for weather updates or possible class cancellations before heading out.

Please note: There will be no class on Friday, August 7.

Because something new is taking flight…

Introducing Connected in Flight, a brand-new pilot project and the first class of its kind to combine AcroYoga, aerial silks, and partner straps into one immersive experience.

From the ground to the air, we’ll explore movement through trust, communication, creativity, and play while discovering how familiar AcroYoga foundations can transform into something entirely new.

Combining our backgrounds in partner dance, partner acrobatics, AcroYoga, and aerial arts, we’re creating a space to explore movement together.

Less about copying tricks. More about creating movement together.

In this class, you’ll learn beginner AcroYoga foundations, bring those same shapes into the silks, and explore partnered straps while discovering new shapes, fluid transitions, and new ways to fly.

We’re incredibly excited to collaborate with Circus Arts Foundry and introduce the Tampa Acro community, along with new faces, to their amazing facility in St. Petersburg. Together, we’re creating a one-of-a-kind experience, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Join us for the Acro-Ween Fundamentals Workshop, a two-day immersive learning experience hosted at Kinection Arts in collaboration with St. Pete Acro Nonprofit and Tampa Acro.

Each class is intentionally designed to build upon the previous one, creating one complete weekend learning experience. Registration includes both Saturday and Sunday, allowing participants to progress together from foundation to skill development.

A new month means more opportunities to move, connect, learn, and fly together.

‼️Please note that Friday, July 3rd there will be no class as we celebrate Independence Day weekend.

Wishing everyone a fun, safe holiday, and a heartfelt thank you to all of the military members, veterans, and the fallen heroes whose service and sacrifice help protect the freedoms we enjoy.

We’ll be back the following Friday and can’t wait to see everyone on the turf!

☀️ JUNE ACRO IS HERE ☀️

Join us every Friday in June for our Beginners & All Levels Acro Class starting at 6pm, followed by Acro Jam from 7:30pm until the last person leaves. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve been practicing for years, everyone is welcome to come learn, move, connect, and grow with our community.

Please bring:
• Yoga Mat
• Water Bottle
• Small Towel

Since our classes are held outdoors, weather plays a very important role in class each week. Florida heat, rain, lightning, wet ground conditions, and high heat index warnings can all affect class safety and comfort. Please always check our Instagram Stories for same day updates, cancellations, rainouts, or location changes before heading out.

If weather forces us indoors, we will relocate class to .

Indoor rainout class details:
• Class begins at 7:30pm
• Cost is $10 per person
• FREE for Kinection Arts members
• 90 minute class with stretch and cool down after class

We highly recommend staying after class to experience more of the amazing community at Kinection Arts, learn about their Acro and mobility classes offered throughout the week, and check out their Saturday handstand classes as well.

Join us every Friday for our Tampa Acro All Levels Class + Jam. Whether you’re brand new or have been flying for a while, this is your space to learn, grow, and connect.

If you’ve never tried acro before, this is your sign to come play. Our Friday classes are free and designed to give you a welcoming, supportive introduction to both acro and our community.

We build, we laugh, we fall (safely), and we lift each other up… literally and figuratively.
