It was an honor for Dr. T.C. Copper, Executive Director of the Su***de Prevention Training Institute, to participate in the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce's Pitch With a Purpose Breakfast as a member of the nonprofit panel.

The event provided a meaningful opportunity to introduce the Su***de Prevention Training Institute to Chamber members, share our mission of empowering individuals and organizations with life-saving su***de prevention education, and highlight the importance of building a community where everyone is equipped to recognize the warning signs and respond with confidence and compassion.

We are grateful to the North Tampa Chamber of Commerce for creating a platform that connects nonprofits with local business leaders and community partners who are committed to making a positive impact. Together, through collaboration, education, and awareness, we can strengthen our community and help save lives.

Our Executive Director, Dr. T.C. Copper, had the honor of presenting to the Vietnam Veterans of America, Chapter 787, about the Su***de Prevention Training Institute's Applied Su***de Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop.

ASIST is a two-day, evidence-informed training that equips participants with practical skills to recognize when someone may be at risk of su***de, engage in a supportive conversation, and help create a plan that connects them with immediate safety and ongoing support.

It was a privilege to share how this life-saving training empowers community members, organizations, and Veterans to become more confident and prepared to intervene when it matters most. Thank you to the Vietnam Veterans of America for your commitment to supporting Veterans, their families, and the communities you serve. Together, we can build stronger networks of care and help save lives through education, awareness, and compassionate action.

BioFeedBack Resources International and the Su***de Prevention Training Institute are pleased to announce a collaborative training partnership designed to expand access to evidence-based, neuroscience-informed professional development opportunities for behavioral health practitioners, counselors, coaches, educators, and healthcare professionals.

This partnership brings together the expertise of BioFeedBack Resources International in biofeedback and neurofeedback education with the Su***de Prevention Training Institute’s commitment to advancing innovative approaches that support mental health, resilience, and su***de prevention. The BioFeedBack Resources International will offer two specialized training programs that equip professionals with practical tools to enhance self-regulation, improve clinical outcomes, and strengthen overall wellness.

Through this partnership, BioFeedBack Resources and the Su***de Prevention Training Institute are committed to providing high-quality education that bridges neuroscience, technology, and behavioral health practice. September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, inspire hope, and encourage help-seeking behaviors. Su***de impacts millions of individuals, families, and communities each year, yet many people continue to struggle in silence.

The Su***de Prevention Training Institute is dedicated to providing evidence-based education that empowers community members to become advocates for su***de prevention. Through our training programs, participants learn to recognize su***de risk factors, identify warning signs, and develop effective intervention skills that can save lives.

Our goal is to make this life-saving training available at no cost to participants. Community fundraisers play a vital role in helping us achieve this mission.

The Su***de Prevention Training Institute was honored to participate in the Sgt. Anthony Muhlstadt Defender Ruck, joining active-duty military, Veterans, families, friends, and community members in a powerful demonstration of remembrance, resilience, and support.

This event serves as an important reminder of the sacrifices made by our service members and the critical need to support the mental health and well-being of our military community. We are grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside others who are committed to raising awareness, fostering connection, and preventing su***de.

Every step taken during the Ruck represented a commitment to ensuring that no military member feels alone. Together, we can build stronger communities, reduce stigma surrounding mental health, and create life-saving connections for those who need them most.

Thank you Tanya, and the participants, volunteers, and supporters who made this meaningful event possible. We are proud to be part of a community that continues to honor Sgt. Anthony Patrick Muhlstadt's legacy through action, compassion, and service.
