The Florida Optometric Association (FOA) Convention was 4 days of continuing education, innovation, networking, and reconnecting with friends and colleagues.

From exploring the latest advancements in eye care in the exhibit hall to learning from leaders shaping the future of our profession, this convention is where optometry comes together. I love learning how technology continues to transform patient care such as with objective visual fields!

I am grateful for the opportunity to learn, connect, and bring back the best back to my patients and community!

I was so happy to see some Kawanza Cherry Blossoms in London 🌸 It was a pleasant surprise! As we travel more I am realizing that these aren’t as rare as I thought they were.

Blephex has been one of my favorite procedure as of late for burning, itching, crusty lashes, or watery eyes. It might not just be “dry eyes.”

IPL has been a GAME CHANGER in the dry eye world. It is my favorite treatment as of late. It targets the root cause of dry eyes by heating up the glands, targeting inflammation and kills off Demodex mites.

I like to start with IPL FIRST because allows me to minimize therapies for my patients. Once the sessions are completed we reevaluate.
