With Thanksgiving coming up, November is all about giving thanks for the people we love and taking a moment to show them just how much they mean to us.
Our senior loved ones have given us so much over the years: memories, traditions, wisdom, and countless moments to be grateful for. This month, find a few simple ways to remind them how much they’re appreciated.
💌 Write them a handwritten note
Tell them what you appreciate about them or share a favorite memory. A heartfelt note is something they can keep and look back on.
☕ Spend some one-on-one time together
Put the phones away and simply sit, talk, have coffee, or enjoy each other’s company.
📞 Call them just to say, “I’m thinking of you”
It doesn’t have to be a long conversation. Sometimes knowing someone thought to reach out can mean the most.
📸 Look through old photos together
Ask them about the people, places, and memories behind the pictures. You may even hear a story you’ve never heard before.
🏡 Ask how you can make their day a little easier
Offer to run an errand, help around the house, or take care of a small task. Sometimes the simplest gestures can make a big difference.
This Thanksgiving season, let’s make time for the people who have given us so much to be thankful for. 💜💚
