Today, we honor Juneteenth, a day that commemorates freedom, celebrates resilience, and recognizes the ongoing journey toward equity and justice. ❤️🖤💚

As we reflect on the strength and perseverance of those who came before us, we also acknowledge the importance of healing, community, and supporting one another through life's challenges.

At Aaron's House, we believe that every person deserves to be seen, heard, valued, and supported. Together, we honor the past, celebrate progress, and continue building a brighter future.

Happy Juneteenth.

Aaron’s House was proud to participate in the community event on Saturday, June 13, where we had the opportunity to connect with community members, share information about our mission, distribute brochures, and support fellow vendors and organizations making a difference.

A special thank you to Aaron’s House Board Member Gloria Reynolds and volunteer Cherika Burton for helping represent our organization throughout the event. We are grateful for their dedication and commitment to serving our community.

Events like these allow us to raise awareness about the resources and support available through Aaron’s House while building meaningful connections with those we serve. We also enjoyed meeting so many amazing community partners and learning more about the valuable work being done across our region.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our table and took the time to learn more about Aaron’s House. Together, we continue building a stronger, more supportive community for all.

Mental health affects us all—and no one should have to face life's challenges alone. 💚

Every statistic represents a real person, a real story, and a real opportunity to make a difference through compassion, understanding, and support.

Whether you're struggling, supporting a loved one, or simply learning more about mental wellness, know this: help is available, healing is possible, and you are not alone.

Together, we can break the stigma, encourage conversations, and build a stronger, healthier community.

💜 Your mental health matters.
💚 Your story matters.
💜 You matter.

Grief doesn’t look the same for everyone, and there is no “right” way to heal. 💚

Some days may feel heavier than others, and that’s okay. You do not have to carry the weight of loss alone. Reaching out for support, talking about your feelings, or simply allowing yourself space to grieve can be an important part of healing.

Be gentle with yourself. Help is here, and you are not alone.

Tonight was a powerful and emotional moment for everyone connected to Aaron’s House Foundation. Watching Hoodbachi God share his story, talent, and presence left us with amazement and inspiration.

Board members present in person — Leroy Staley, Gloria Reynolds, Pamela Robinson, and Laura Jones-McCoy — witnessed firsthand the impact of this special moment, while additional board members joined virtually via Zoom to be part of the experience.

At Aaron’s House Foundation, moments like these remind us why community, compassion, and connection matter so much. We are grateful for every person who continues to support the mission and help create spaces where healing, expression, and hope can thrive.

Thank you, Hoodbachi God, for sharing your light and energy with us. The evening was truly unforgettable.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. ❤️🤍💙

We also hold space for the families, loved ones, and caregivers carrying grief and remembrance today. Your love, your memories, and your sacrifice matter.

Be gentle with yourself. It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to ask for support. You do not have to carry it alone. Today and every day, we remember with gratitude.

Black men deserve safe spaces to speak, heal, and ask for help. 💚

Breaking the stigma starts with conversation, support, and reminding each other that struggling in silence is not the only option.

You are not alone. Asking for help is a sign of strength.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s GO GREEN for healing, hope, and support 💚

Taking care of your mental health can start with small daily choices—checking in with yourself, showing kindness to others, stepping outside for fresh air, or simply giving yourself permission to rest.

Every step toward healing matters, and no one has to walk the journey alone. Together, we can help break the stigma and create safe spaces for support and understanding. 🌿
