Tampa’s only integrative pelvic floor therapy practice does things a little differently 👇
Conventional pelvic floor therapy usually means strengthen it, stretch it, coordinate it. Useful but it treats the pelvic floor as an isolated muscle group, disconnected from everything else driving the dysfunction.
If a muscle is tight because the nervous system is guarding from stress, trauma, or an old injury elsewhere stretching it in isolation won’t fix it. The tension has a source. We treat the source, not just the symptom.
One treatment plan, not three separate appointments: manual and osteopathic techniques, somatic breath work, and Ayurvedic lifestyle coaching. That’s the difference between feeling better for a few weeks, and not needing us anymore.
I’m Dr. Sujata Nāir-Martin, and I specialize in integrative somatic healing techniques that combine evidence-based osteopathic manipulative therapy with the ancient sciences of Ayurveda and Yoga.
