We are overwhelmed by the love, prayers, and support our community has shown following the devastating fire at our sober living home in Valrico. For more than 12 years, this house has been a place of healing, accountability, brotherhood, and hope for men rebuilding their lives in recovery. While the home may be gone, the spirit of recovery and community that lived inside of it is stronger than ever.
Most importantly, we are incredibly grateful that all residents are safe. In the midst of such a heartbreaking loss, the outpouring of kindness from our alumni, families, community partners, and recovery community has reminded us that none of us walk this journey alone.
We also want to extend a sincere thank you to WFLA News Channel 8 and FOX 13 Tampa Bay for sharing the story of our residents and helping bring awareness to the importance of sober living and recovery support. Their coverage has helped shine a light on the resilience of these men and the incredible strength of the recovery community.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared our story, reached out, or offered support in any way. Your compassion means more than words can express. We are committed to helping these men continue moving forward in their recovery journeys and to rebuilding what was lost, together.
