We are so excited to share another ADHD Virtual Workshop for professionals and young adults! In this interactive workshop, participants will learn more about ADHD while engaging in guided exercises to build mindfulness, strengthen self-compassion, and reframe self-talk into something more empowering. In this workshop, Brittany Wilson, LCSW will also share practical, easy-to-use strategies to help participants manage ADHD symptoms in their day-to-day life.

So excited for the field of equine assisted services and the recognition it is getting as an evidenced based service.

Animal-assisted psychotherapy is a form of mental and behavioral health treatment that partners with horses and other animals to help adults, children and families to heal from trauma, to manage autism or to overcome anxiety, depression, grief or other emotional problems. The modality is supported by the National Association of Social Workers, and some U.S. colleges offer training in the practice, including through a graduate certificate offered at Colorado State University.

Teen girls today are navigating intense pressure — academic expectations, social media comparison, friendship & relationship dynamics, and the constant pull to fit in.

In this 3-hour experiential skills-based workshop we intentionally combine our clinical training as a licensed therapists with the powerful, honest feedback of horses (no riding required) to help girls build real confidence, strengthen resilience, and practice healthy assertiveness. They’ll learn how to navigate relationships — with themselves and others — without losing their voice or their values.

In equine integrated wellness often times groups naturally choose more of what they need. Sometimes we all need a little more play. Horses are great teachers of this. Research shows that play lowers stress and supports nervous system regulation.
Play activates the parasympathetic nervous system (the “rest and digest” state), helping reduce cortisol and improve emotional regulation. Adults who engage in playful activities report lower depression and anxiety and greater life satisfaction.
