Perineural Intercostal Nerve Platelet Rich Plasma [PRP] (Leucocyte poor) + Plasma Concentrate [PC](Dehydrated Platelet Poor Plasma) Injection

38 year old, with post surgical intercostal neuralgia/neuritis s/p cryoneurolysis of Left T1, T3-6 intercostal nerves.

Pain now fairly controlled with 2/week class 4 Laser + oral ketamine troche.

We decided to use PRP + PC as the therapeutic effect may not depend solely on platelets. Experimental and early clinical work suggests that plasma-derived proteins (such as HGF, IGF-1, α2-macroglobulin (A*M), albumin, IL-1Ra and extracellular vesicles) can contribute to anti-inflammatory and neuroregenerative effects which will potentially benefit her long term.

Burning Mouth Syndrome 🥴🥴🥴🔥🔥🔥
Cryoneurolysis of Bilateral Infra-Orbital Nerves for Upper Lip Symptoms

A 67-year-old female has been experiencing burning in her upper lip for the past 1.5 years, with no known cause identified. She was previously treated by an Oral/Facial pain specialist who conducted a CT scan, but it did not reveal any explanations for her symptoms. The pain is persistent, leading to dry lips, and it intensifies with stress and anxiety. Recently, she found relief from a mushroom tincture purchased online, as well as from ketamine troches.

Previous treatments, including acupuncture and medical management with alpha lipoic acid, were unsuccessful. Notably, diagnostic infra-orbital nerve procedures provided over 80% relief.
