Endolift is an amazing treatment—but it’s not appropriate for everyone.

When someone has severe skin laxity, a facelift is generally the more appropriate treatment because it can address a degree of sagging and excess skin that Endolift simply cannot.

But there are also patients who are fearful of surgery or simply don’t want to deal with the downtime and recovery that come with a facelift. They may come to me specifically wanting Endolift as a less invasive alternative.

In those cases, we have an honest conversation about expectations: Endolift will not give facelift results for these patients. However, it can still provide beautiful skin tightening, collagen stimulation, contour improvement, and overall rejuvenation.

It’s also important to understand that age and skin quality play a significant role in the results you can expect. Younger skin with better elasticity may respond very differently than older skin with significant laxity and reduced elasticity. Every patient—and every face—is different.

This patient is happy with her current results and at 6 months we are able to repeat treatment if needed to better fine-tune the results.

Ultimately, it’s not about promising that one treatment can do everything. It’s about choosing the right treatment for the individual patient and, most importantly, setting realistic expectations from the very beginning. ✨
