I get it. You train, do your cardio and core, meal prep, work, handle chores… the list never ends.

Posing is often the first thing to get pushed to the back burner, but I’ve learned to have fun with it. The more you practice, the more confident and natural it becomes. It stops feeling like another task on your to-do list and starts feeling like a chance to express all the hard work you’ve put in.

Don’t wait until peak week to take it seriously. A few minutes each day adds up and can be the difference between looking good on stage and presenting your physique at its full potential. Practice the skill, enjoy the process, and let your personality shine through ✨

Your mindset as an athlete can be your greatest superpower or your biggest kryptonite 🤯

Don’t tie your success to an outcome. Tie it to the process. Let your satisfaction come from the things you can control: your effort, your attitude, and the intentions behind your decisions. If you can honestly say you gave your best and use both wins and losses as feedback, you’re going places.

Think about how much stress is self-induced by focusing on variables you have no control over. Learning to let go of those things allows you to perform at a higher level and show up more fully in the areas that matter.

Whether it’s relationships, sports, school, or your career, the principle remains the same: focus on what you can control, accept what you can’t, and keep moving forward. That’s where growth happens.

This is why the scale doesn’t tell the whole story.

Karlee is the exact same weight as she was before, yet her body fat is down, muscle mass is up, her BMR has increased, and her body composition has completely changed.

The scale only tells you how much you weigh. It doesn’t tell you how much muscle you’ve built, how much body fat you’ve lost, or how much healthier you’ve become.

Since her first show in April, she’s successfully reversed her calories, got married, navigated a busy season of life, and still never made excuses. She adapts, communicates, asks questions, learns, and executes.

When Karlee first came to me, she asked, “I eat a basically vegan diet. Is that something you’re able to work with?” Absolutely.

Your goals are never out of reach because of your lifestyle, food preferences, or because someone else says it’s impossible. There is always a way.

This is what happens when you trust the process and focus on more than a number on the scale.

Same weight. Different body. Different mindset. Different life.

I couldn’t be more proud of you, Karlee. The physique transformation is incredible, but the athlete you’ve become along the way is even more impressive. The sky is the limit 💪🏼✨

Take the videos.

Even when it feels uncomfortable. Even when you’re not confident. Even when people are watching.

Because you’ll never be able to see yourself through a present lens. You’re too close to the process.

It’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how much you’ve grown, and how many things you once thought you couldn’t do.

Document the journey. One day, the videos you’re hesitant to take today will be the proof of how far you’ve come✨

How we feeling 3 weeks out?

Honestly? Bring it on.

I don’t know if it’s because I’ve basically been in prep for a year, but let it get hard. Let the cardio pile up. Let the hunger hit. Let the early mornings test me.

I’m ready.

The goal isn’t just to step on stage. The goal is to be better than the last time I stepped on stage. Better conditioning. Better presentation. Better mindset. Better athlete.

Every rep, every meal, every step, every minute of cardio is an opportunity to earn that version of myself.

Challenge accepted.
