Meet siblings Lucas and Maggie, both born with complex medical conditions.

For their mother, Montanna, St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital has been a source of comfort, strength and compassion as both children navigate unique medical needs. Hope rolled into St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital with a $200K grant from Hyundai Hope On Wheels and Suncoast-area Hyundai dealers. Patients marked the special day with colorful handprints on the 2026 Hope On Wheels vehicle. 💙🖐️

Hyundai Hope On Wheels and Suncoast-area Hyundai dealers rolled into St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital earlier this week with a $200,000 grant, bringing their total support to an incredible $1.8 million since 1998.

The donation will be used to enhance vital work provided by our oncology social workers and also will help fund the addition of a pediatric neuropsychologist to the care team.

Patients celebrated the special day by covering Hyundai’s 2026 Hope On Wheels hero vehicle with colorful handprints — each one a symbol of courage, strength and hope. 💙🖐️

Exciting progress is underway across BayCare! 🎉

On Friday, BayCare celebrated a topping out ceremony for BayCare Hospital Manatee, marking placement of the final steel beam on the health system's 17th hospital.

Expected to open in 2028, the hospital will expand access to high-quality care and support the growing health care needs of Manatee County. St. Joseph's Children's Hospital is proud to be part of BayCare as we continue expanding access to care across the region.
