Here in the high desert of Taos, New Mexico, we are so blessed by the beauty and magic of Rocky Mountain Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum).
Indigenous peoples have long used Juniper berries and branches for purification and clearing spaces. With its crisp, woody, and slightly sweet aroma— Juniper is the perfect helper for grounding and purifying, uninviting unwanted energies and bringing in blessings.
Traditionally, juniper has been used to support digestion and a healthy urinary tract!
If you imbibe, you may enjoy Juniper as the star ingredient of gin. Juniper is also commonly used as a spice for various things like meats, fish, or medicinal tea.
