It’s almost the end of Mental Health Awareness Month. However, mental health is important year round. Family Services of Westchester (now part of the Open Door Care Network visited The Pantry twice this week. They gave out flyers to 125 guests, and provided additional information regarding medical and mental health services available at Open Door as well as health insurance application assistance. Our COMHPS (Community Mental Health Promotion and Support) team was proud to participate in the NAMIWalks Westchester 2026 on Saturday, May 16, at Ridge Road Park in Hartsdale, NY.

We were privileged to support the Westchester Community in the annual mental health awareness and fundraising walk that supports free education, advocacy, and support programs provided by National Alliance on Mental Illness and NAMI Westchester, Inc. Participants, families, advocates, and supporters come together for a morning of hope, connection, and community while helping break the stigma surrounding mental health.
