October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Early detection saves lives. When breast cancer if found early, it's easier to treat and survival rates are higher. Talk to your medical provider about when you should begin your breast cancer screening and how often you should have a mammogram.

Open Door Care Network patients have access to a Care Coordination team who can assist with referrals for cancer screenings, including free screenings for eligible people who do not have health insurance through the Cancer Services Program of the Hudson Valley. To learn more about our Care Coordination services, speak to your Open Door provider by calling 914-632-2737.

Octubre es el Mes de la Concienciación sobre el Cáncer de Mama. La detección temprana salva vidas.
