The Lodge at Taylor was excited to see our team featured in the Heritage News coverage of Music in the Park! Residents enjoyed an afternoon of Motown music provided by SoundProof Band and a chance to spend time together in the park. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day so enjoyable.

Did you know? Skilled nursing facilities and nursing homes are not quite the same.

Skilled nursing provides physician-directed medical care and rehabilitation after an illness, injury, or surgery. Nursing homes primarily provide ongoing help with daily living.

Skilled nursing stays are often short-term and recovery-focused (though can be ongoing to treat chronic conditions,) while nursing home care is usually long-term.

On Wednesday July 29th activities staff walked residents down to the Taylor Conservatory to enjoy music in the park with The Sound Proof Band who has also visited The Lodge at Taylor. Was an enjoyable night by all and the band made the residents feel like VIP's.
