and we’re here to help. With over 34 years of service, Westwood Physical Therapy Clinic specializes in orthopedic physical therapy with an emphasis in manual therapy and exercise therapy. We deliver individualized patient care designed for the optimal rehabilitation for the patient. Our physical therapists are committed to total quality care by delivering one on one contact with each patient throughout their treatment program and maintaining contact with referral sources. We provide a variety of physical therapy services, and specialize in the following areas:
Orthopedic Physical Therapy
We evaluate problems of the musculoskeletal system (muscles, bones, ligaments or tendons) and focus on diagnosing, managing and treating injuries to return our patient to their prior functional level. Manual Therapy
Is a clinical approach utilizing skilled, specific hands-on techniques, including but not limited to manipulation/mobilization. We use these techniques to treat muscles and joints for the purpose of decreasing pain, increasing range of motion, reducing inflammation, promoting relaxation, facilitating movement and improving function. TMJ Disorders
We offer highly specialized treatments for temporomandibular disorders, which affect many individuals with pain and dysfunction. We work with doctors who specialize in the many disorders that affect the jaw and a person’s ability to eat, talk, swallow and open their mouth. Pediatrics
We help children reach their maximum potential for functional independence through examination, evaluation, promotion of health and wellness, and implementation of a wide variety of interventions and supports. We treat a wide variety of orthopedic conditions in children, including scoliosis. Sports Physical Therapy
We deal with orthopedic injuries that are incurred during sports and the complex demands that are involved with returning an athlete to sports.
