Self-care isn't selfish. It's okay to slow down. Your nervous system will thank you.
I say this to a lot of women who have spent years believing rest is something they have to earn — usually by making sure every ritual, every rule, every "just to be sure" has been completed first.
If that's you, I want you to hear this: your body isn't asking you to be perfect. It's asking you to feel safe.
OCD convinces you that vigilance equals protection. But there's a real cost to running on high alert all the time — it shows up in your sleep, your appetite, your patience with the people you love.
Slowing down isn't the same as letting your guard down. It's part of how healing happens.

I'd love to have you in my private channel where we talk more about this — just send me a message with the word OCD and I'll get you the link.
