Join us next Saturday, August 8th from 11am - 12pm for our Disaster Preparedness Event at the Tazewell Library. Attendees will receive one disaster preparedness bucket per family. This is a free program for all ages.

Parenting children and youth who have disabilities and receive special education can sometimes feel like a wild ride!
Join us for a one-hour session to prepare for the new school year. We will cover a few special education basics and share practical “hacks” to prevent or address areas that often create unnecessary bumps in the journey. There will also be time for questions and open discussion.

Formed Families Together offers free, peer-led support groups where adoptive and foster parents and kinship caregivers can safely share experiences, concerns, resources, and family successes. Groups are co-facilitated by trained peer leaders with personal and professional experience in foster care, adoption, and kinship care.

Choose the format that works for you:

🏠 In person: Third Wednesdays, 7–8:30 PM in Fairfax City
💻 Virtual: First Sundays, 7:30–9 PM
💙 No cost to participate

One registration enrolls you in both formats and provides monthly meeting reminders. Regular participation in at least one format is encouraged. Please note that childcare is not available during in-person meetings.
