You scream I scream we all scream for ice cream! We had a special visit from Lou Lou's ice cream truck, and what better way to enjoy a summer day then with some delicious ice cream. We were happy to treat our residents and staff with a little something sweet. A big thank you to Lou Lou's ice cream truck for coming out and helping us make the day a little sweeter.

📚🎉 Back-to-School Bash Fun! 🎉✏️

Before the school bells ring, we took some time to celebrate our amazing staff and their incredible kids with a Back-to-School Bash! 🍎🎒

It was an afternoon filled with smiles, laughter, games, treats, and excitement as we helped our little scholars get ready for a brand-new school year.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success! We hope all of the students have an amazing, safe, and successful school year. Here’s to new adventures, new friendships, and a fantastic year ahead! ❤️📚

🎉 Family Night was a huge success! 🎉

What an incredible evening filled with laughter, smiles, and wonderful memories! ❤️ It was so special to see our residents spending quality time with their families, enjoying great food and each other’s company.

Today our residents put their aim to the test with a fun game of target practice! Using water guns, they took turns knocking down stacks of styrofoam cups, one splash at a time. Activities like this are a great way to encourage hand-eye coordination, focus, and movement.

S'mores fun at Dogwood Crossing today!Our residents had a blast making "Walking S'mores" for the evening activity. With their own toppings they built the perfect sweet treat. A huge thank you to Ashley Fisher for sending us this wonderful idea! It was a massive hit. We are always looking for fresh, fun ways to keep our residents smiling. Today our residents got creative with a fun salt painting activity
Salt painting isn't just a beautiful craft—it's also a wonderful way to support healthy aging. The process of painting, sprinkling salt, and watching the colors spread helps improve fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, focus, and creativity. It also encourages self-expression and provides a relaxing, sensory experience that can spark conversation and bring smiles. Every masterpiece was as unique as the artist who created it, and we loved seeing everyone's creativity shine.
