Lucy’s passion for dementia care is rooted in seeing the person beyond the diagnosis and understanding that behavior is often a form of communication. Through her work with our residents, families, nurses, and team members, Lucy helps ensure that every individual is understood, supported, and empowered to maintain as much independence as possible.

Her dedication to advocacy, education, and truly person-centered care embodies the heart of our Harmony Village philosophy.

We were so grateful to have the wonderful students from The Frisch School lend a helping hand in building our sukkah, while the students from The Moriah School brought beautiful decorations that made it feel extra special.

We truly appreciate their time, creativity, and generosity in helping us prepare for the holiday. Thank you to both schools for being such wonderful community partners and for bringing so much joy to our residents! 🍂💙

What an incredible Assisted Living Week we had across CareOne! ✨❤️

From carnivals and Grandparents Day brunches to themed celebrations, ice cream trucks, music, games, and so much more, our communities were filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable moments all week long.

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, the CareOne family pauses to remember the lives lost, the heroes who answered the call, and the families and communities forever changed by that day.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the courage of our first responders, the selflessness of everyday Americans, and the spirit of unity that brought our nation together in the days that followed.

💙 Honoring Leadership & Welcoming a New Chapter in Teaneck 💙

On behalf of everyone at CareOne at Teaneck, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Chief Andrew G. McGurr for his many years of dedicated service to the Township of Teaneck.

Chief McGurr has been a valued partner and supporter of our community, and we are especially grateful for the support he has shown CareOne at Teaneck throughout the years. We wish him all the very best as he begins this well-deserved next chapter.

We are also pleased to warmly welcome Chief Seth B. Kriegel as he begins his new role as Chief of Police. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with the Teaneck Police Department and working together in service of the community we are so proud to call home.

💙 4th Annual Summer of Sharing Begins! 💙

At CareOne, caring for our communities is at the heart of everything we do. We're proud to kick off our 4th Annual Summer of Sharing, a company-wide initiative dedicated to giving back to the communities we call home.

This summer, each of our CareOne communities has partnered with a local charity that is meaningful to them. From animal shelters and Alzheimer's organizations to cancer research, children's camps, food pantries, veterans' programs, and many other deserving causes, our residents, families, and team members are coming together to make a positive impact.

Throughout the summer, we'll be hosting fundraisers, donation drives, volunteer events, and community activities that reflect our commitment to compassion, service, and making a difference.
