Lori Seaford

Lori Ann Seaford, 62, passed away on June 1, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

She was born in Rockford, Illinois on October 15, 1963, to Arnold and Marion (Panke) Sunday.

Born and raised in Illinois, Lori graduated from Winnebago High School in 1981 and found true love when she married her best friend, Glen Seaford, on July 13, 1996. Some of their favorite memories were taking the kids on vacation, their trip to Vegas, where they took a helicopter ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon and hosting Christmas in their home.

Christmas was always a special time for Lori, who became known for her exquisite homemade bows, which were so beloved that family members often argued over. Lori was always planning for the perfect gift or a surprise for the people she loved. She enjoyed crafts and scrapbooking, planting in her flower gardens; she could grow anything and was always fond of dragonflies.

In her younger years, Lori worked for H&R Block and was a teller at Old National Bank in Tell City. More recently, she pursued her passion as a salesperson for Monat, sharing her enthusiasm for hair products with others.

Lori attended New Hope Baptist Church in Newtonville.

Surviving is her loving husband, Glen Seaford; children, Tyler (Aleshia), Tessa, Nathen and Noah (Melissa); sisters, Sharon Giacomelli and Pam Grant; brothers, Steve and Dennis Sunday; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews that she loved as if they were her own children.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Terry Mason and nephews, Justin and Jacob Grant.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM CDT on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel. Burial will follow in New Hope Cemetery, Newtonville.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00-7:00 PM CDT and Saturday from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.

Randle Story

Willie "Randle" Story, 75, passed away on May 20, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

He was born in Albany, Kentucky on December 19, 1950, a son of Willie Edward and Vera Christina (Cowan) Story. He retired from Peerless Pottery in Rockport where he worked in the fabrication shop.

Randle had a life long love for restoring and driving hot rod cars. He was barely in double digits and definitely not old enough to do so legally when he began driving. Randle mastered the art of repairing or rebuilding most anything with wheels and served as a mentor to countless young car enthusiasts. Randle often expressed his love for his grandchildren by helping them take care of their cars. He always looked forward to warm weather because that meant that car cruise-ins (certainly not to be mistaken for "car shows") and the Evansville Frog Follies would be gearing up. He also enjoyed going to Somerset, Kentucky for an annual cruise-in. Randle also was an excellent tomato gardener. Folks would beg, steal, and barter for a can of his homemade salsa.

His surviving family members include his daughters, Angela Sartin (Wayne) and Lena Tabor (Brandon); grandchildren, Emma and Elijah Sartin, Joshua Gaynor, Donavon Tabor and Austin Vincent; sisters, Shirley Sabelhaus and Jackie "Tina" Story and several nieces and nephews.

Randle was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Phyllis Gaynor, Sharon Underhill, Wanda Cronin, Donald Wayne Story in infancy, Gib Story and Jim Story.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM CST on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Talbott Funeral Home in Albany, Kentucky. Burial will follow in Craig Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time on Friday at Talbott Funeral Home. Huber Funeral Home, Tell City Chapel, is assisting the family with these arrangements.

The family would love for your and your cars to join them in honor of Randle at the next Cars & Coffee on June 20,2026 from 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM , on Main Street in Tell City.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Care pet food program at https://www.cancercare.org/paw

Shannon Simmons

Shannon R. Simmons, 54, passed away unexpectedly on May 5, 2026.

She was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on December 19, 1971, and spent most of her life in Perry County.

Shannon graduated from Cannelton High School in 1989, where she had many friends, eventually turning into lifelong relationships.

Her high school athleticism and point guard abilities were respected by many and took her to Oakland City College on a basketball scholarship.

Shannon was a friend to many as her personality and sense of humor were hard to resist. Even yet today, she made friends wherever she went and enjoyed working a temp job that took her around people at WGS, Waupaca, ATTC and KKIL.

She loved her nieces and nephews as if they were her own children, and her dogs would easily be a close second. Later in her life, she found a love of painting, drawing and carpentry work and she found solace just being in her woodshop at home.

Shannon is survived by her mother Brenda Boyle (Bob); siblings, Jason Simmons, Angela King, Ray Boyle, Tara Fortwendel (John), Archie Boyle and Cody Simmons (Allison).

She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Simmons and brother, Bobby Boyle.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Huber Funeral, Cannelton Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be given to Cannelton High School’s Athletic Department.

Messages of condolence may be left for her family at www.huberfuneralhome.net

Steve Oldham

Steven B. Oldham, 56, passed away on May 5, 2026, at Owensboro (KY) Regional Health Hospital. He was born in Evansville on January 17, 1970, the only son of John and Shirley (Gregory) Oldham. Steve lived in Chandler area for several years.

Steve loved working on and restoring his Harley Davidson motorcycle as he was very mechanically gifted, often leading him to having the reputation of the guy to go to if your car needed looked at. He like to tinker and piddle, but that may come second to a day of fishing if it was an option. Listening to music was another favorite of his, preferably heavy metal or classic rock.

He was also fortunate to be a part of a big family of in-laws who looked forward to their monthly get togethers that they fondly called "Sibling Night" continuing their vow to keep spending time together.

Surviving are his wife, Bobbie Oldham; sons, Bryan and Matthew Evinger and Mark Oldham, a nephew that he helped raise, but Steve looked at like a son, and grandsons, Joel and Jude Evinger.

His parents, John Oldham and Shirley Hammers, sisters, June Oldham and Sondra Hale and a grandson, Roman Evinger preceded him in death.

As per his wishes, there will be no funeral service for Steve but his memory will continue to live on at family get togethers.

Memorial contributions may be made to Rivers Edge Animal Shelter.
