New to TheraTogs and looking for a manageable starting point?

The Posture and Torso Alignment (PTA) System is a starter TheraTogs subsystem that focuses on functioning trunk alignment and postural control in daily life.

Two close-fitting garments plus a small strap set give you a stable sensory base and gentle alignment guidance through the torso, without asking caregivers to manage a complicated setup.

Clinicians use PTA to help with issues such as hypotonia, flexible kyphosis or lordosis, pelvic tilt, and poor postural endurance, always in the context of therapist-guided care.

The aim is not to hold a fixed posture, but to support wear-it, live-it, learn-it practice of better-organized trunk control across the day.

Curious whether PTA fits your caseload? Visit our website to review clinical indications and fitting guidance—and explore our clinician loaner program if you’d like to trial the system in your own setting.

Caregivers - You don't have to be the therapist—but you can bring therapy home.

Your child sees their PT or OT once or twice a week. The rest of the time? They're with you—playing, eating, learning, and growing. And that's where the real progress happens.

The challenge is, it's hard to keep up the alignment and posture work between visits when you've got a full life to live. You're already doing so much. You shouldn't have to become a therapist on top of it all.

That's where TheraTogs comes in.

Think of it as sending your child's therapist home with you—in the form of a gentle, supportive garment that does the alignment work while your child goes about their day. It gives their body continuous, low-key reminders to stay in better posture during all the everyday moments: sitting at the table, playing on the floor, standing at the sink, exploring the backyard.

When your child's body is better aligned throughout the day, they get steadier, clearer sensory feedback from their muscles and joints. That steady input helps their brain and body practice new movement patterns—not just once or twice a week in the clinic, but thousands of times a day, in real life.

Here's how it supports you:
🔥No constant repositioning. TheraTogs provides gentle, ongoing support so you're not always adjusting or worrying about posture.
🔥Works in your real routine. No special exercises to remember—just put it on and let your child live, play, and learn.
🔥Builds the foundation. Better trunk control and balance today mean more confident movement, participation, and independence tomorrow.
🔥You're not doing this alone. TheraTogs is designed to work with you and your child's therapy team—supporting better posture and movement in the life you're already living.

💬 Curious whether TheraTogs might be a good fit? Talk to your child's therapist about trying it and seeing the difference at home.

Intensive therapy models—whether you're running a multi-week program or offering concentrated sessions over school breaks—create an incredible opportunity for accelerated motor learning. But the science is clear: motor learning requires mass practice, physiologic adaptation, and long-term exposure to functioning alignment.

A three-week intensive can't do that alone—especially if the family won't be back for months, or if they're traveling from out of town with limited access to pediatric neuro therapy at home.

TheraTogs bridges that gap.

Including a TheraTogs garment system as part of your intensive offering extends the clinical work you've already done. TheraTogs provides gentle, continuous postural alignment and sensorimotor input throughout the day, allowing them to live in the aligned, supported body you've been helping them discover in the clinic.

What this means for your intensive model:
Alignment doesn't stop at discharge. The postural strategies and movement patterns you've worked stay active at home during daily routines.

Supports families with limited access. For families who've traveled to access your expertise, or who have long gaps between therapy episodes, TheraTogs provides therapeutic support when hands-on care isn't available.

No homework burden. Caregivers don't want to remember exercises or replicate therapy. TheraTogs works in the background of real life with continuous support all day.

Evidence-aligned. Research supports that TheraTogs, used alongside conventional therapy, improves postural control, balance, gait parameters, and functional mobility in children with spastic diplegic CP and other neuromotor impairments.

Make it part of the plan.

During the intensive, fit and customize the TheraTogs system based on each child's alignment needs. Train caregivers on donning, strapping strategies, and wear schedules. Then send them home with a live-in support system that keeps working between visits—because building bodies that can participate means supporting progress when your hands aren't there.

If you’ve heard colleagues mention TheraTogs but don’t yet feel confident about when or how to use it, our free clinical webinars are your best starting point. These sessions are geared toward clinicians who are new to the system and want clear, practical orientation—not one-off case consults.

In each webinar, we walk through:

1️⃣What TheraTogs is and how it works as a soft, exo‑muscular garment and strapping system
2️⃣Typical indications and contraindications across neuromotor and postural presentations
3️⃣How to think about system selection, sizing, and basic donning/strapping principles
4️⃣Available trainings and resources if you decide to integrate TheraTogs into your practice

We reserve time for general Q&A so you can ask about fit, comfort, wear schedules, and training pathways—but we don’t dive into individual patient treatment planning in this format.

For clinicians who leave the webinar thinking, “I’d like to see what this looks like on my patients,” our loaner program is the next step. It lets you trial TheraTogs systems in your own setting, with your own clinical reasoning, before making larger purchasing decisions.

"He asks for them every day."

Meet Sydney. Sydney loves wearing his TheraTogs—and the difference has been remarkable.

Sydney's parents share that TheraTogs has improved Sydney's posture, trunk stability, and leg relaxation. But beyond the physical changes, it's boosted his confidence and balance in ways that matter every single day.

The best part? It's easy. TheraTogs fits into their family's routine without added stress—just a soft, supportive garment Sydney wears under his clothes while he plays, learns, and explores.

TheraTogs works alongside your child's therapy, gently guiding their body into better alignment all day long. It's not a replacement for the work you're already doing—it's a partner in it.

Wondering if TheraTogs might help your child? Ask their therapist about a trial to see the difference for your family.

TheraTogs + exercise therapy outperforms exercise alone for thoracic kyphosis in kids with CP.

This RCT showed that children wearing TheraTogs 8 hours/day alongside conventional PT had significantly better improvements in spinal alignment, mobility, balance, and fall risk compared to therapy alone.

Intensives are powerful. But what happens when families go home?

If you offer intensive therapy—whether it's a week-long spring break session or a multi-week program for out-of-town families—you know the gains can be remarkable.

But here's the challenge: motor learning doesn't pause between intensives. A child can't build a durable, functional body in three weeks and then wait six months to work on it again. Physiologic adaptation requires ongoing, aligned repetition in real-life contexts—not just clinic time.

This is where TheraTogs changes the equation.

By integrating a TheraTogs garment system into your intensive program, you're not just treating during the session—you're equipping families with a tool that extends your clinical work into the other 166 hours of the week. TheraTogs provides continuous, low-load postural support and alignment throughout daily activities, allowing the child to practice what they've learned during the intensive while they play, eat, learn, and move at home.

Why this model works:
✔️ Carryover without caregiver burnout. Families don't need to replicate therapy sessions at home. TheraTogs does the alignment work for them—10 minutes to put on in the morning, then steady support all day.

✔️ Mass practice in context. The child gets thousands of aligned repetitions daily, reinforcing the motor patterns and postural strategies you've been building in the clinic.

✔️ Bridge between episodes of care. For families traveling long distances or waiting months between intensives, TheraTogs maintains alignment and supports continued progress during the gap.

✔️ Building bodies, not just sessions. An intensive kickstarts change; TheraTogs sustains it. Together, they support the durable physiologic adaptation that leads to real functional gains.

Consider offering an intensive + TheraTogs offering.

When you're investing concentrated clinical time helping a child find better alignment, postural control, and movement quality, equipping families with the means to protect and build on those gains is simply good clinical practice.

Tell us how you integrate TheraTogs into your intensive sessions.

Parents and caregivers often hear "You need carryover at home." That often meant stacks of exercises, printed handouts with photos, and the pressure to recreate therapy sessions in your living room—on top of everything else you're managing.

Here's the truth: You're already doing enough. You don't need another job. What you need is a way to support your child's alignment and movement while you go about your day—not instead of it.

That's what TheraTogs does.

It takes about 10 minutes in the morning to put on. Then your child's body gets gentle, continuous support for better posture and alignment—all day long—whether they're playing, learning, eating, or resting. You're not stopping to reposition. You're not trying to remember exercises. You're just living your life, and your child is getting the steady sensory input their body needs to learn and grow.

TheraTogs doesn't replace your child's therapist. It extends their hands into your home, so the work doesn't stop when the session ends. And it frees you to be the parent—not the therapist.

Here's what makes it work:

👍Simple to use. A quick routine in the morning, then it works quietly in the background all day.
👍Designed for real life. Your child can move, play, and explore while their body stays better aligned.
👍Partnership, not pressure. Your child's therapist fits and adjusts TheraTogs based on their specific needs, and you carry it forward at home—no guesswork, no added stress.

You deserve tools that make life easier, not harder. TheraTogs is designed to support your whole family—your child's progress and your peace of mind.

💬 Curious how it works? Talk to your child's therapist about whether TheraTogs might be a good fit for your family.

TheraTogs isn’t just something clinicians “try” — it’s a modality supported by clinical research. This study adds to the growing evidence that strategic garment and strapping use can improve postural alignment and movement outcomes in children with CP.

As clinicians, we owe it to our patients to stay curious about the evidence behind the tools we choose. Research-informed practice helps us make stronger decisions, explain our recommendations with confidence, and provide care that is both thoughtful and defensible.

If you use TheraTogs—or you’re considering it—let this be your reminder to look at the evidence and keep building your clinical reasoning around modalities that are backed by more than anecdote.
