Upliftme Attachment-Based Therapy

Upliftme Attachment-Based Therapy April Galligan, LCSW IMHM-C is the owner and therapist at UpliftME Attachment-Based Therapy.

Her focus is on the parent-child relationship and supporting adults in parenting and building healthy relationships. I'm a mental health therapist with over 20 years of experience providing supports to children and families with a focus on healthy relationships. I work with children, parents, adults, and families to build and create happy, healthy relationships. While I am trained in diagnosis and

assessment, my focus is primarily on patterns in relationships, trauma, attachment-wounds, adoption support, co-parenting, parenting in early childhood, and women's life transitions.

Many of the therapists at UpliftME are trained in child-parent-psychotherapy. CPP celebrates and supports diversity and all families, however they define themselves. This is a good reminder of why PRIDE is important and why UpliftMe strives to be an ally and resource to the LGBTQ+ community.

CPP CELEBRATES PRIDE - Every day
Celebrating pride means that we commit to doing the work (within ourselves and within our communities) to ensure that all community members are free and supported in loving whomever they love and are loved and cherished as their authentic selves.

She's also trained to incorporate animals into the mental health therapy she provides - co-therapist dog pending:)🐶

Kerry Murphy has been with us for a while now, and we think she is a wonderful human being. She started at UpliftME as a student intern and quickly became an integral part of the team.
