Sweet Teat Very simply, I founded SweetTeat to educate, enlighten and empower women to breastfeed.

Whether this is your first child or your fifth, there is a special place for you in my practice. Whether you are exclusively breastfeeding an infant or you are supplementing one with formula, there is still much to gain from my practice. Whether no one in your entire family has ever breastfed, or your husband and mother-in-law are nudging you to give it a try, your potential to succeed with breastfeeding is limitless and I would be honored to help you on your journey!

As you read this headline; just a reminder that prior to the introduction and intensive marketing of infant formula, most mothers breastfed their babies. And the normal weaning age for humans is 2-7 yrs. Breastfeeding after 2 years typically looks like nursing for comfort in the morning and at bed time, and it can last for years. It’s normal and we should stop attacking women.

The correct way to prepare powdered infant formula is to BOIL water when maing bottles.

Using distilled and bottled water is not effective because the bacteria is within the powder NOT the water. Be safe.

Federal and state health officials are investigating 13 cases in 10 U.S. states of infant botulism linked to baby formula that is being recalled.
