If you’re in your late 30s or 40s and you’ve started avoiding certain things because of your back, this is for you

Maybe you’ve stopped loading the bar the way you used to
Maybe your golf swing feels restricted.
Maybe every time you squat, you’re waiting for your back to “act up”

The goal isn’t to spend the rest of your life trying to protect your back

The goal is to build a back that’s strong enough, resilient enough, and prepared enough to handle the things you love doing

At REP, we help active adults get back to lifting, squatting, golfing, running, and living confidently by identifying the true cause of the problem and creating a plan that’s built around their goals

Because success isn’t just having less pain

Success is stepping up to a heavy barbell, standing over a golf ball, or hitting a workout without wondering if your back can handle it

Has your back pain made you think twice about certain activities lately? Click the link in our bio to take the first step in getting back to them with confidence 💪🏽🏌🏽‍♂️🏋🏽‍♀️

Traditional rehab often focuses on getting you through today’s pain

Our goal is to help you get back to the things you actually want to do, and stay there

At REP, we don’t stop at reducing symptoms

We identify the root cause, build strength where it’s missing, improve movement quality, and create a plan that’s specific to your goals

Because feeling better is great

Staying active without constantly worrying about your back, knee, hip, or shoulder is even better

If you’ve tried traditional rehab, PT, chiropractic, injections, or rest and still don’t feel like yourself, it may be time for a different approach

If you’re in your 40s, 50s, or 60s and an injury is keeping you from fully enjoying your workouts, this is for you

Maybe you’ve stopped lifting as heavy

Maybe you’re modifying every class

Maybe you’ve paused your gym, CrossFit, or group fitness membership because you’re not sure what you can safely do anymore

The frustrating part isn’t just the pain

It’s feeling like your body can’t do the things you know you’re capable of

The good news? Getting older doesn’t automatically mean giving up the activities you love

Most of the active adults we work with don’t need to stop exercising, they need a better understanding of what’s driving the problem and a plan to build their confidence back

Whether it’s low back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, or something that’s been nagging you for months, your body is often more capable than you think

If you’ve been dealing with an injury that’s limiting your workouts, click the link in our bio and let’s talk about your next step

When a patient finishes their plan of care and says:

💬 “I feel better than I’ve ever felt”

That’s the stuff that never gets old

Seeing people get back to lifting, running, golfing, playing with their kids, and living life without constantly thinking about pain is why we do what we do 🙌

One of the best things about the human body is its ability to adapt

No matter your age, your body can become stronger, more resilient, and more capable when given the right inputs

Many people assume recurring back, knee, or shoulder pain is simply part of getting older. In reality, what we often see is a gradual loss of strength, movement options, and recovery capacity over time, not an unavoidable consequence of age itself

The good news? Those things can be improved

When you build strength, move well, and gradually expose your body to the activities you want to do, flare-ups often become less frequent and less limiting

Your body is capable of more than you think

One of the first, and most important steps in low back pain rehab is building a solid foundation

Before we load movements, strengthen muscles, or progress exercises, you need to understand how to create stability around your spine

For many people, that starts with breathing

The way you breathe affects how your core functions and how well your body can support and protect your lower back during everyday movement

That’s why one-on-one coaching matters

Not a handout
Not a generic exercise sheet

Real coaching. Real feedback. Real-time adjustments

In this video, Dr. Brian is teaching a new patient how to use her diaphragm and low belly to create better core stability—a foundational skill

The exercises matter

Doing them correctly matters even more

POV: You found a doctor who…
➡️ Understands your goals
➡️ Trains like an athlete
➡️ Doesn’t panic when you mention deadlifts
➡️ Has a plan beyond rest and pain meds

Too many people are told to stop doing the things they love the moment pain shows up

Our approach is different

We help active adults understand what’s driving the problem, build a plan around their goals, and gradually get back to doing what matters most

Because the goal isn’t to avoid life

The goal is to get back to living it

If you’re tired of being told to “just rest” and want a clear plan forward, click the link in our bio

One of the biggest misconceptions about your 30s is that aches and pains are just something you have to accept

We see the opposite every day

The people who do the best in their 30s, 40s, and beyond aren’t necessarily the ones who never have setbacks

They’re the ones who address problems early and have a plan when something comes up

This patient is a sports performance coach who helps others perform at a high level

When his back started bothering him, he didn’t ignore it or try to push through it

He got a plan

The goal isn’t to stop doing the things you love

The goal is to keep doing them for years to come

Your 30s can be some of your strongest, most active years when you invest in your body the same way you invest in everything else that’s important to you

Shoulder pain has a funny way of convincing people to wait

Maybe it’ll go away on its own
Maybe you just need more rest
Maybe next month will be a better time

And honestly, that’s okay. Most people don’t take action the first time they realize something is wrong

But here’s the question:

Where do you want to be 3 months from now?

Still modifying workouts?
Still avoiding movements you used to enjoy?
Still hoping it gets better?

Or making progress, getting stronger, and feeling more confident in what your body can do?

The people who get the best results aren’t always the most motivated. They’re the ones who decide they’re tired of letting the problem dictate what they can and can’t do

You don’t have to have everything figured out today

You just have to decide that the next 3 months are going to look different than the last 3
