AZCOM Chapter of SAOAO

AZCOM Chapter of SAOAO Anyone who is interested in joining our club is welcome as we have members from the medical and physician assistant programs.

The SAOAO shall promote and advance interest in the specialty of Orthopedic Surgery, and contribute to the knowledge, welfare, and education of osteopathic medical students in the specialty of Orthopedic Surgery. AZCOM's chapter of SAOAO is part of a national association that provides an opportunity for students of Midwestern University, Glendale Campus to explore the field of Orthopedic Surgery.

The Orthopedics Club holds monthly meetings, lectures from surgeons in the valley, cadaveric workshops, suturing and knot tying practice, journal clubs, and participates in volunteer events in the Glendale community. We will be using Facebook as a way of communicating with our members so keep a look out for any event announcements as well as great resources to prepare you in your journey to a career in Orthopedics.
