Amisay loves boxing because it keeps his exercise up, helps him stay healthy and make new friends - he looks forward to it every week. Being with a supportive team and celebrating their accomplishments is the best.

Congratulations to our 321 Knockout Amabassador - Jake! When asked how long he's been participating in sports he said, "My whole life, since I was a baby." Jake and his family have been involved in many programs through DSNetwork and other groups. He says DSN is important to his Mom because it helped her connect to the community and make life-long friends. For Jake, it gave him fun things to do and a chance to make friends!

Hoy tuve el privilegio de asistir al almuerzo Hispano durante la convención del National Down Syndrome Congress. Compartí la mesa con personas de Colombia, Panamá y México. Un momento especial fue la conversación entre la Dra. Teresa y Majo. Estaban completamente conectadas, irradiando amor, alegría y esa energía positiva que inspira. Cuando la Dra. Teresa le preguntó a Majo cómo se sentía con todo lo que estaba viviendo, Majo Respondió con la palabra: “Orgullo.”

Today I had the privilege of attending the Hispanic Luncheon at the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention. I shared a table with people from Colombia, Panama, and Mexico. One of the meaningful moments was witnessing the conversation between Dr. Teresa and Majo. They were completely in sync, radiating love, joy, and the kind of positive energy that lifts everyone. When Dr. Teresa asked Majo how she felt about everything, Majo answered “Proud.”
