13-HOUR LOC RESTORATION ✨
This client came in for what was expected to be a retightening. Before beginning, I asked about the numerous rubber bands throughout the hair. She stated on video that the rubber bands had been in her hair for over a month, although she initially told me her last retightening had been three weeks earlier.
Once I began the service, I discovered extensive unraveling throughout the perimeter, nape, and sides. Approximately 80% of the locs required corrective work and reconstruction. What should have been a routine maintenance appointment turned into a 13-hour restoration.
By the end of the service, I was physically exhausted and ready to go home, so I forgot to take complete after photos of the top section. Despite that, I am grateful that I was able to restore and transition her locs into our signature NordaLocks® System.
This is why hands-on assessments matter. Not every appointment booked as a retightening is truly a retightening. Sometimes, the condition of the hair tells a different story.
