What if you don’t have to choose just ONE therapy modality? 🧠💙

EMDR. DBT. Parts Work. Somatic approaches. Attachment-based therapy.

If you’ve ever wondered, “Which type of therapy is right for me?” — you’re not alone.

The truth is: you are not a diagnosis, and therapy shouldn’t be one-size-fits-all.

In my practice, I integrate evidence-based approaches and tailor treatment to your specific needs, goals, nervous system, history, and what we discover together in therapy.

✨ EMDR may help process traumatic experiences.
✨ DBT can build emotional regulation and coping skills.
✨ Parts Work can help you understand protective patterns and inner conflicts.
✨ Attachment-focused and somatic approaches can help create greater safety, connection, and awareness.

Rather than forcing you into a single modality, we can ask:

“What does your system need right now?”

The goal isn’t simply to feel better temporarily.
It’s to work toward meaningful, lasting change—with an approach that evolves as you do.

💙 Your therapy should be as individual as you are.

📩 If you’re unsure where to start, you don’t have to figure it out alone.

WHAT IF YOU DON’T NEED 5 MORE YEARS OF TALKING ABOUT YOUR TRAUMA? 👀

You can understand why you feel this way…

You can know exactly where it came from…

You can talk about it over and over again…

And still feel like your body is stuck in the past.

That’s because trauma isn’t always something you can simply think your way out of.

🧠 EMDR therapy helps your brain reprocess distressing memories so they can become less emotionally overwhelming and less triggering in the present.

You don’t necessarily need to keep retelling every detail.

You may need to process what happened differently.

✨ Imagine remembering without reliving.
✨ Responding instead of reacting.
✨ Feeling safer in your own body.
✨ Finally moving forward—not just talking about moving forward.

Therapy isn’t about how long you’ve been hurting.
It’s about finding what helps you heal.

EMDR may be a powerful option for trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and distressing experiences that still feel “stuck.”

🧠 Trauma changes the brain—but healing can change it too.

Psychological trauma doesn’t simply become a memory. It can alter how the brain processes threat, emotion, and memory.

Research shows trauma may:
• Increase activity in the brain’s “alarm system” (amygdala), leading to hypervigilance and anxiety.
• Reduce the brain’s ability to regulate emotions (prefrontal cortex).
• Disrupt how memories are stored (hippocampus), making the past feel like it’s happening in the present.

The encouraging news? The brain is capable of change.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic memories so they become integrated rather than emotionally overwhelming.

Research has found that successful EMDR treatment can:
✔️ Reduce the emotional intensity of traumatic memories
✔️ Improve emotion regulation
✔️ Decrease PTSD, anxiety, and depression symptoms
✔️ Help the brain distinguish “that was then” from “this is now”

The goal isn’t to erase your memories—it’s to help your brain store them as part of your past instead of continuing to experience them as your present.

Healing is possible, and your brain has an incredible capacity to adapt.

🩵Boundaries Are Not Walls — They’re Bridges to Healthier Relationships 🩵

Many people think boundaries push others away. In reality, healthy boundaries create the conditions for deeper connection, trust, and respect.

When boundaries are unclear, relationships can become filled with resentment, exhaustion, guilt, people-pleasing, or conflict. When boundaries are healthy, you can care for others without losing yourself.

Healthy boundaries help you:
✨ Communicate your needs clearly
✨ Protect your emotional and mental well-being
✨ Reduce resentment and burnout
✨ Increase self-respect and confidence
✨ Build more authentic, balanced relationships
✨ Create greater safety and trust with loved ones

Setting boundaries can be challenging, especially if you grew up feeling responsible for others’ emotions, were taught to put your needs last, or fear disappointing people. Boundaries are a skill—and like any skill, they can be learned and strengthened.

In therapy, I help clients:
🩵 Identify where boundaries are needed
🩵 Understand the beliefs and fears that make boundary-setting difficult
🩵 Develop healthy communication skills
🩵 Reduce guilt and people-pleasing patterns
🩵 Build confidence in expressing needs and limits
🩵 Create relationships that support both connection and personal well-being

You deserve relationships where your needs matter too.

When we experience trauma, our nervous system adapts to protect us. These responses aren’t flaws—they’re survival strategies that once served a purpose. Here’s how they may show up:

✅ FIGHT

Controlling or dominating behavior• Quick to anger or frustration• Defensive, argumentative• Can present as narcissistic traits or a need to “win”➡️ Root: “If I stay in control, I stay safe.”

✅ FLIGHT

Constant busyness or overworking• Perfectionism and anxiety• Difficulty slowing down or resting• Avoidance of uncomfortable emotions➡️ Root: “If I keep moving, I won’t feel it.”

✅ FREEZE

Feeling stuck, numb, or disconnected• Difficulty making decisions• Low motivation or shutdown response• Avoidance through dissociation or zoning out➡️ Root: “If I don’t move, I might survive this.”

✅ FAWN

People-pleasing and over-accommodating• Difficulty setting boundaries• Fear of conflict or rejection• Losing sense of self in relationships➡️ Root: “If I keep others happy, I stay safe.”

✨ Healing begins with awareness. These patterns are not who you are—they are what helped you survive 🩵
