Since launching Ignite in 2022, this program has truly become a standout differentiator for our organization. Last week, Addus was a proud sponsor of the 2026 Senior Fest event hosted by the Chicago Department of Family and Support Services (DFSS) Area Agency on Aging. The morning thunderstorms couldn’t dampen our excitement to meet and interact with thousands of amazing seniors at the event in Millennium Park in the heart of Chicago.

Addus HomeCare Family of Company team members from Addus HomeCare, Lifestyle Options, and JourneyCare Home Health and Hospice came together to host our interactive booth, walk the event meeting seniors, and participate in the many activities of Senior Fest.

Addus HomeCare started in Chicago in 1979. We are proud to have served the Windy City for almost 50 years by living our mission of providing in-home care to our clients and patients who want to maintain independence in their homes.

Thank you to all our amazing team members who took time to participate in this amazing event. We love being a partner in the communities we serve!

💕 Late Lovers Luncheon Fun! 🍕

Who says Valentine’s fun has to be on time? We celebrated a little late, but we loved every minute of it at our monthly team luncheon — “Late Lovers” edition! ❤️

We enjoyed delicious pizza, fresh salads with all the fixings, lots of laughs, and some great team building time together. There’s nothing better than good food and even better company!

So thankful for a team that works hard, supports each other, and still makes time to have fun together. 💗

The celebration was filled with delicious banana splits, Big Red and Root B**r floats, cupcakes, and plenty of laughter shared by the whole team. It was a sweet way to show our appreciation and celebrate another wonderful year of leadership.

Our January Monthly Potluck was a perfect mix of comfort, connection, and a little fun! 🥣🥗🍰

This month’s theme — “Soup, Salad, Sweets & Sweats” — brought everyone together in their comfy attire to enjoy warm soups, fresh salads, delicious desserts, and great team-building activity called Spaghetti Tower Marshmallow Challenge. Congratulations to the winners, Agneris, Annette, Maiden and Sara!

It was a wonderful way to kick off the new year, strengthen our teamwork, and share a few laughs along the way.

We had a wonderful time spreading holiday cheer at the office! 🎄 Our Elf on the Shelf kept us laughing with a little mischief throughout the week, we celebrated Annette’s birthday with lots of smiles and sweet treats, and wrapped it all up with our festive Christmas potluck filled with amazing food and great company.
