Yesterday’s long run took this crew out Moss Lane and beyond for some SOLID miles around Templeton. Great job putting in the work and building a strong base one run at a time.

A big congratulations to everyone who raced the Rock to Pier Run in Morro Bay yesterday! 🌊

Special shoutout to James and Haelee for outstanding 10K performances, finishing in the top 100 out of 709 runners! 🔥 Haelee placed 3rd in her age group to earn a spot on the podium 🥉, and James finished 4th in his age group, just one place away. Awesome job! 💪🏼

One of the most beautiful back roads through Templeton, Willow Creek serves up big, tough climbs followed by long, shaded downhills that make all the hard work worth it. It’s the perfect route to build strength, practice hill running, and challenge yourself.

Proud of everyone who showed up and put in the work today. Every climb makes us stronger, and this crew tackled them all with grit and smiles. Great job, everyone! 💪🌞

🇺🇸 TEMPLETON 4TH OF JULY 5K REMINDERS 🇺🇸

Race day is almost here! Here are a few quick reminders:

⭐ Register online before race day! Easier for us, cheaper for you! Registration increases to $30 on July 4th.

⏰ Race day check-in opens at 6:15 AM. Arrive early to pick up your bib and get warmed up before the start.

🚻 Restrooms and porta potties will be available at Templeton Park.

🚫 Parking Reminder: There is no parking on Main Street or Crocker. You may park on side streets (before road closures) or follow the signs to parking behind the Feed & Grain off Main Street.

🚧 Roads close at 8:30 AM for the parade, so plan on moving your vehicle before then if you’re not staying.

❤️🤍💙 Don’t forget to wear your red, white, and blue as we celebrate 250 years of American Independence! We can’t wait to kick off Templeton’s Fourth of July celebration with you.

Kicking off our 4th of July 5K with a little extra pride 🇺🇸✨ Introducing Mika, our National Anthem singer to start race morning!

Mika Pirozzi is 15 years old, an incoming junior at Paso Robles High School, and incredibly excited to be performing the National Anthem at this year’s 4th of July 5K!

She has loved singing ever since she was a little girl, always listening to her favorite songs in the car and singing them so loud her parents had to roll the windows down. For nearly five years, she has dedicated her life to musical theatre, participating in productions at her high school and various community theatres. She recently joined her school’s Forte Choir program and has developed a love for vocal music-that community is how she got the opportunity to sing for you all at this event!

Mika is eternally grateful for all the opportunities she has been given, and she is thrilled to share her love of music on this monumental day! We can’t wait to celebrate with her!

This event benefits Templeton Run Club and the Rotary Club of Templeton, two organizations dedicated to supporting our community through events and local service projects.
