Today, at the Annual IARCA Conference, held at the Embassy Suites in Plainfield, Gibault’s Keith Madley was presented with the Robert Pollitt Excellence in Service Award. Gibault CEO, IARCA Vice President of the Board, and Keith’s wife, Michele Madley was present to pose for a picture with Keith. Congratulations Keith! 😊👏

What is CIT (Crisis Intervention Team)? CIT International defines CIT as "The Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) program is a community partnership of law enforcement, mental health and addiction professionals, individuals who live with mental illness and/or addiction disorders, their families, and other partners to improve community responses to mental health crises. While CIT programs are known for CIT-trained officers, successful programs also focus on improving the crisis response system, advocating for needed services, and strengthening partnerships across the community".

After 28 years of loyalty and dedication to Gibault, our Director of Facilities and Grounds, Jon Effner, is retiring. Today, we honored Jon with a send off that had plenty of stories, laughter and tears. Jon’s accomplishments at Gibault are too many to name, so to mention them would only fall short of the true list.
Therefore, we ask for followers, friends, contractor’s, former colleagues, and alumni to wish Jon good luck with his next adventures in life and to thank him for his years of service to Gibault.
