Special emphasis is placed on preparing residents for practice in under-served rural areas.

🎉 We’re celebrating 50 years of the Union Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program!

As we prepare to celebrate this milestone, we’re excited to reconnect with our alumni.

Congratulations to Dr. Tran UHFMR Class of 2026! He completed his Pediatric Obesity Fellowship through the University of Florida. He will be starting a position as a Pediatric Obesity Specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital and will also serve as faculty at Harvard Medical School. His Union Family is beyond proud!

This weekend, the PGY-3s covered the inpatient services so all of the PGY-1’s and 2’s could go on their annual retreat!

They spent a weekend in Bloomington and had a blast boating on Lake Monroe and exploring the downtown Bloomington area!
