🦩🚨 THE FLOCK HAS ARRIVED! 🚨🦩

We’ve officially been FLOCKED! 🩷

After hearing about the unfortunate broken-neck incident involving one of their fellow flamingos earlier this week, the rest of the flock arrived at Benton Family Healthcare feeling a little… concerned.

Apparently, flamingos are big believers in preventative care. 😂

🩺 First up: Consultations

Each bird insisted on a private consultation to discuss their concerns.

There were reports of stiff necks, tired wings, sore backs from all that flying around the Wabash Valley, and at least one flamingo who claimed they’d been standing on the same leg for far too long.

We had questions.

So did they.

🩻 Next stop: X-rays

After the recent neck incident, nobody was taking any chances.

The flock lined up for X-rays to make sure everything was where it was supposed to be.

Turns out, migrating from lawn to lawn can be pretty hard on a flamingo.

🙌 Then came the exams…

A few brave birds hopped right up on the table.

There were some ruffled feathers.

A couple questionable postures.

And more than one suspiciously long neck.

Thankfully, everyone survived their visit. 😂

The flock is now resting comfortably, standing a little taller, and already discussing where their next adventure might take them.

We’re absolutely thrilled to have these pink celebrities visiting Benton Family Healthcare—and even happier to be part of such a fun way to support our local cat shelter and the amazing work they do for animals in our community. 🐱🩷

Although we do have one concern…

With this many flamingos suddenly interested in chiropractic care, we may need to start accepting bird insurance. 🦩😂

Just over here making our little impact in the community. ❤️

Dr. Jennifer Benton serves as the Education Coordinator for Terre Haute One BNI and holds the chiropractic seat within the chapter. In her role, she is dedicated to helping members become stronger networkers by providing practical education that members can immediately apply to grow their businesses and build deeper referral relationships.
Each week, Jennifer shares valuable networking insights drawn from official BNI resources, including BNI podcasts, training materials, and educational content from experienced BNI leaders around the world. Her weekly education moments keep the chapter connected to proven networking strategies while reinforcing the core BNI philosophy of Givers Gain®.
Beyond simply presenting information, Jennifer challenges members to put these ideas into practice both inside and outside the chapter. Whether it's improving one-to-one meetings, strengthening referral conversations, or expanding relationships throughout the local business community, her educational segments provide actionable tips that help members become more intentional, confident, and effective networkers every week.

Hey there everyone I just wanted to bring your attention to a new nonprofit that we have here in Terre Haute. CEA ministries looks to help our homeless population to be a resource for those who are ready for a hand up to get out of their current situation. Our friend Gloria, who leads this ministry is a wonderful person, a NICU nurse for 30 years, and she hopes to be an excellent resource for the city of Terre Haute in the future. Please consider supporting her mission as she helps those in need. 

Over the last several days, many people have seen me share about “Mandy” and the vision of building a bridge to stability through CEA Homeless Ministries.

MANDY stands for:
Moving Ahead Not Defeated Yet.

Mandy represents women who are trying to move forward despite hardship, addiction, trauma, homelessness, grief, or difficult circumstances.

MASON stands for:
Moving Ahead Surviving Obstacles and Negativity.

Mason represents the future male clients we hope to help through CEA Homeless Ministries — men who are working to rebuild their lives with dignity, accountability, hope, and support.

The bridge to stability represents the space between crisis and independence. The purpose of the bridge is to help provide a security deposit, 1–4 months of rent, and connection to community resources while someone works toward regaining stability and independence.

Right now, we are raising funds to help build Mandy’s Bridge to Stability with a goal of $5,000. CEA Homeless Ministries is a registered 501(c)(3), and all donations are tax deductible.

Because we operate with a very low overhead budget, donations given toward Mandy’s Bridge go directly toward the campaign and helping create stability.

No donation is too small because every dollar helps create another step across the bridge.

If giving financially is not possible right now, there are still meaningful ways to help:

• Invite others to support the mission

We may not be able to change the whole world, but we can help change someone’s world while creating real solutions to a very big problem.

Hey everyone, spectrum is doing some work on our local phone lines and have let us know that our phone service is being interrupted while they are working. The main number for our office goes to a Cell Phone instead for instances just like this. That cell phone number is 812-239-2244. This is the main number that we advertise, but if you use any of our other phone numbers associated with this office, you may not be able to get through.

NASA has just informed us Dr. Benton and the rest of the Artemis ii crew are officially heading back to Earth. They also sent us this unbelievable photo of the first ever adjustment done in space. What a time to be alive! 🌍 🌚🚀
